• c:\usr\sap\SID\upg\startup.bat Hangs when Run - Attempting to Resume an SAP System Upgrade

  I am trying to resume an upgrade of SAP PI 7.0 to 7.1 by running c:\usr\sap\SID\upg\startup.bat It runs but does not do anything, it just displays a blank screen (command prompt). Please can you let me know how to resolve this? Thanks.

• Error while detecting start profile for instance with ID _u

  I am upgrading a SAP Java instance and am getting the error shown in the log below. There are not backup profile files in the profiles directory. The string _u does not exist in the default, start or instance profile for instance SCS01. Please can you suggest what the issue might be?
