• Problem with Using chntpw in Ubuntu to reset Windows 7 Password

  I tried resetting the password of windows 7 Using 'chntpw' command in Ubuntu . It showed success . But when I try to login from Windows it does not seem to be changed. I first used live USB of ubuntu 11.10 and did ''Try Ubuntu''. Then I did sudo apt-get install chntpw and then cd /media/Vista/Windows/System32/config sudo chntpw -u username sam . I did according to this link . http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntucat/resetwindowspasswordold/ and got success like this. Hives that have changed: Name 0 Write hive files? (y/n) [n] : y 0 – OK . But when I try to login to windows with blank password , I could not login. I also tried changing the password and showed success but I could not login with that password . Thank you . Any help is very much appreciated.

• Resolution of monitor is not supported by motherboard

  I have Desktop with configuration Pentium 4,945 intel chipset board,dual booting with win 7 and ubuntu 10.10 (no graphics card) Recently i purchased Dell IN2020M 20" with native resolution of 1600x900 but my display allow maximum of 1024x768 because of this when i play any video in full screen mode it doesn't play smoothly or frames are refreshed jerkily I have tried updating my VGA driver but its doesn't helping me much. Is there any way to solve this problem ? 1if i want to replace monitor what maximum resolution should i buy ? 2if i want to upgrade(graphics card/motherboard) my desktop what is the minimum configuration to support the current system. • Trouble parsing self closing XML tags using SAX parser

  Hi, I am having trouble parsing self closing XML tags using SAX. I am trying to extract the link tag from the Google Base API.I am having reasonable success in parsing regular tags. Here is a snippet of the xml <entry> <id>http://www.google.com/base/feeds/snippets/15802191394735287303</id> <published>2010-04-05T11:00:00.000Z</published> <updated>2010-04-24T19:00:07.000Z</updated> <category scheme='http://base.google.com/categories/itemtypes' term='Products'/> <title type='text'>En-el1 Li-ion Battery+charger For Nikon Digital Camera</title> <link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-67261-24966-0/2?ipn=psmain&amp;icep_vectorid=263602&amp;kwid=1&amp;mtid=691&amp;crlp=1_263602&amp;icep_item_id=170468125748&amp;itemid=170468125748'/> . . and so on I can parse the updates and published tags, but not the link and category tag.
