  • Putting Illustrator CS4 in fullscreen?

    Hi, so I got this drawing tool from my good friend because he got a bigger and better one and I have the Adobe Suite CS4. But, I'm not a good drawer so I am interested in learning and I kind of want to turn Illustrator into a canvas that takes up the whole screen. In addition, I don't want the window to be shown at all. Is there any way to do this? Photoshop or another alternative works also works but I would prefer Illustrator.

  • Problem trying to move a CCSprite circle in Cocos2d

    Hi, So I am trying to move a CCSprite (which has the picture of a circle and is 32 by 32 pixels) with ccTouchesBegan. I have tried the following: -(void) ccTouchesBegan:(UITouch *)touch withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { CGPoint location = [touch locationInView:touch.view]; if ((location.x <= L1Circle1.position.x + 32 && location.x >= L1Circle2.position.x - 32) && (location.y <= L1Circle1.position.y + 32 || location.y >= L1Circle2.position.y - 32)) { L1Circle1.position = ccp(location.x, location.y); } } But, when I touch the screen in the simulator nothing happens... What am I doing wrong?

  • objc[989] objc_exception_throw failed.

    I was just adding some more CCSprites to a CCLayer and it just starts crashing giving me the error: objc[989] objc_exception_throw failed. Is there like a limit to the amount of CCSprites you can have on a screen or something? I added the CCSprites doing the following with the CCSprites already declared at interface: L1Circle1 = [CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"LaserCircle.png"]; [L1Circle1 setPosition:ccp(180,180)]; [self addChild:L1Circle1]; What am I doing wrong?

    So, you know how the primitive of type char has the size of 1 byte? How would I make a primitive with a custom size? So like instead of an in int with the size of 4 bytes I make one with size of lets say 16. Is there a way to do this? Is there a way around it?

  • What primitive data type is time_t?

    I do not know the data type of time_t. Is it a float double or something else? Because if I want to display it I need the tag that corresponds with it for printf. I can handle the rest from there for displaying time_t but I need to know the data type that corresponds with it.

  • Is there a way to move two squares in OpenGL simultaneously?

    Hi, so I have a function that handles key presses in a game I'm working on in OpenGL. But, the thing is that even though I have made two squares and they both move when the correct key is pressed only one square is moved. Is there a way I can make the two squares move.   • Not sure how to use ccTouchesBegan to do what I want it to do.

    So when I see ccTouchesBegan (or touchesBegan for that fact of the matter) I see something like this usually: - (void)ccTouchesBegan:(NSSet*)touches withEvent:(UIEvent*)event { UITouch* touch = [touches anyObject]; } But, what I am not getting is how do you just detect if one object has been touched? For example how would I check if a specific CCSprite I declared has been touched? Sorry if this is a newbish question but, I just don't understand and if you need more clarification just ask how I can clarify myself more.

  • Setting the origin to center of the screen instead of the top left screen?(iPhone)

    Hi, I am working on an iPhone app and I am trying to make something that has to do with line-circle collision detection. I am using the slope of the line and checking if the coordinates of a circle suffice the equation y = mx + b. But, with the current origin (0,0) at the top left it is a pain to get the slope. Any way I can convert the coordinates so the origin is in the center of the screen?
