  • Java: Match tokens between two strings and return the number of matched tokens

    - by Cryssie
Need some help to find the number of matched tokens between two strings. I have a list of string stored in ArrayList (example given below): Line 0 : WRB VBD NN VB IN CC RB VBP NNP Line 1 : WDT NNS VBD DT NN NNP NNP Line 2 : WRB MD PRP VB DT NN IN NNS POS JJ NNS Line 3 : WDT NN VBZ DT NN IN DT JJ NN IN DT NNP Line 4 : WP VBZ DT JJ NN IN NN Here, you can see each string consists of a bunch of tokens separated by spaces. So, there's three things I need to work with.. Compare the first token (WRB) in Line 0 to the tokens in Line 1 to see if they match. Move on to the next tokens in Line 0 until a match is found. If there's a match, mark the matched tokens in Line 1 so that it will not be matched again. Return the number of matched tokens between Line 0 and Line 1. Return the distance of the matched tokens. Example: token NN is found on position 3 on line 0 and position 5 on Line 1. Distance = |3-5| = 2 I've tried using split string and store it to String[] but String[] is fixed and doesn't allow shrinking or adding of new elements. Tried Pattern Matcher but with disasterous results. Tried a few other methods but there's some problems with my nested for loops..(will post part of my coding if it will help). Any advice or pointers on how to solve this problem this would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much.

  • Skin Object Tokens for DotNetNuke 5 - 8 Videos

In this tutorial we demonstrate how to use Skin Object Tokens in DotNetNuke v5 and above. Skin Object tokens are a new skinning method introduced in DotNetNuke 5 for adding tokens into a DotNetNuke skin. A Skin Object Token is a web user control, it covers skin elements such as the logo, menu, search, login links, date, copyright, languages, links, banners, privacy, terms of use etc. This new Object token method has been introduced into DotNetNuke with the idea of making it simpler to add a skin object into a DotNetNuke skin. - by Dorin
Hello, I'm looking for an enchanced edit component that allow users to input multiple tokens (items) manually separated by some symbol, or to select them from another source. It's something like "TO" field in outlook or facebook that allow you to input multiple recipients. Can anyone suggest any solution? Thanks in advice!

  • Issue 55 - Skin Object Tokens, Optimized Control Panel, OWS Validation and Security, RAD

April 2010 Welcome to Issue 55 of DNN Creative Magazine In this issue we focus on the new Skin Object token method introduced in DotNetNuke 5 for adding tokens into a DotNetNuke skin. A Skin Object Token is a web user control which covers skin elements such as the logo, menu, search, login links, date, copyright, languages, links, banners, privacy, terms of use, etc. Following this we demonstrate how to install and use two Advanced DotNetNuke Admin Control Panels which are available for free from Oliver Hine. These control panels provide an optimized version of the admin control panel to improve performance and page load times, as well as a ribbon bar control panel which adds additional features. Next, we continue the Open Web Studio tutorials, this month we demonstrate some very advanced techniques for building a car parts application in Open Web Studio. Throughout the tutorial we cover form input, validation, how to use dependant drop down lists, populating checkbox lists and introduce a new concept of data level security. Data level security allows you to control which data a user can access within a module. To finish, we have part five of the "How to Build a News Application with DotNetMushroom Rapid Application Developer (RAD)" article, where we demonstrate how to implement paging. This issue comes complete with 14 videos. Skinning: Skin Object Tokens for DotNetNuke 5 (8 videos - 64mins) Free Module: Advanced Optimized Control Panel by Oliver Hine (1 video - 11mins) Module Development Series: Form Validation, Dependant Drop Downs and Data Level Security in OWS (5 videos - 44mins) How to Implement Paging with DotNetMushroom RAD View issue 55 to download all of the videos in one zip file DNN Creative Magazine for DotNetNuke Web Designers Covering DotNetNuke module video reviews, video tutorials, mp3 interviews, resources and web design tips for working with DotNetNuke. In 55 issues we have created 563 videos!Did you know that DotNetSlackers also publishes .net articles written by top known .net Authors? • Requesting Delegation (ActAs) Tokens using WSTrustChannel (as opposed to Configuration Madness)

    - by Your DisplayName here!
Delegation using the ActAs approach has some interesting security features A security token service can make authorization and validation checks before issuing the ActAs token. Combined with proof keys you get non-repudiation features. The ultimate receiver sees the original caller as direct caller and can optionally traverse the delegation chain. Encryption and audience restriction can be tied down Most samples out there (including the SDK sample) use the CreateChannelActingAs extension method from WIF to request ActAs tokens. This method builds on top of the WCF binding configuration which may not always be suitable for your situation. You can also use the WSTrustChannel to request ActAs tokens. This allows direct and programmatic control over bindings and configuration and is my preferred approach. The below method requests an ActAs token based on a bootstrap token. The returned token can then directly be used with the CreateChannelWithIssued token extension method. private SecurityToken GetActAsToken(SecurityToken bootstrapToken) {     var factory = new WSTrustChannelFactory(         new UserNameWSTrustBinding(SecurityMode.TransportWithMessageCredential),         new EndpointAddress(_stsAddress));     factory.TrustVersion = TrustVersion.WSTrust13;     factory.Credentials.UserName.UserName = "middletier";     factory.Credentials.UserName.Password = "abc!123";     var rst = new RequestSecurityToken     {         AppliesTo = new EndpointAddress(_serviceAddress),         RequestType = RequestTypes.Issue,         KeyType = KeyTypes.Symmetric,         ActAs = new SecurityTokenElement(bootstrapToken)     };     var channel = factory.CreateChannel();     var delegationToken = channel.Issue(rst);     return delegationToken; }   HTH

  • PyParsing: Not all tokens passed to setParseAction()

    - by Rosarch
    I'm parsing sentences like "CS 2110 or INFO 3300". I would like to output a format like: [[("CS" 2110)], [("INFO", 3300)]] To do this, I thought I could use setParseAction(). However, the print statements in statementParse() suggest that only the last tokens are actually passed: >>> statement.parseString("CS 2110 or INFO 3300") Match [{Suppress:("or") Re:('[A-Z]{2,}') Re:('[0-9]{4}')}] at loc 7(1,8) string CS 2110 or INFO 3300 loc: 7 tokens: ['INFO', 3300] Matched [{Suppress:("or") Re:('[A-Z]{2,}') Re:('[0-9]{4}')}] -> ['INFO', 3300] (['CS', 2110, 'INFO', 3300], {'Course': [(2110, 1), (3300, 3)], 'DeptCode': [('CS', 0), ('INFO', 2)]}) I expected all the tokens to be passed, but it's only ['INFO', 3300]. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there another way that I can produce the desired output? Here is the pyparsing code: from pyparsing import * def statementParse(str, location, tokens): print "string %s" % str print "loc: %s " % location print "tokens: %s" % tokens DEPT_CODE = Regex(r'[A-Z]{2,}').setResultsName("DeptCode") COURSE_NUMBER = Regex(r'[0-9]{4}').setResultsName("CourseNumber") OR_CONJ = Suppress("or") COURSE_NUMBER.setParseAction(lambda s, l, toks : int(toks[0])) course = DEPT_CODE + COURSE_NUMBER.setResultsName("Course") statement = course + Optional(OR_CONJ + course).setParseAction(statementParse).setDebug()

  • Bash and regex problem : check for tokens entered into a Coke vending machine

    - by Michael Mao
Hi all: Here is a "challenge question" I've got from Linux system programming lecture. Any of the following strings will give you a Coke if you kick: L = { aaaa, aab, aba, baa, bb, aaaa"a", aaaa"b", aab"a", … ab"b"a, ba"b"a, ab"bbbbbb"a, ... } The letters shown in wrapped double quotes indicate coins that would have fallen through (but those strings are still part of the language in this example). Exercise (a bit hard) show this is the language of a regular expression And this is what I've got so far : #!/usr/bin/bash echo "A bottle of Coke costs you 40 cents" echo -e "Please enter tokens (a = 10 cents, b = 20 cents) in a sequence like 'abba' :\c" read tokens #if [ $tokens = aaaa ]||[ $tokens = aab ]||[ $tokens = bb ] #then # echo "Good! now a coke is yours!" #else echo "Thanks for your money, byebye!" if [[ $token =~ 'aaaa|aab|bb' ]] then echo "Good! now a coke is yours!" else echo "Thanks for your money, byebye!" fi Sadly it doesn't work... always outputs "Thanks for your money, byebye!" I believe something is wrong with syntax... We didn't provided with any good reference book and the only instruction from the professor was to consult "anything you find useful online" and "research the problem yourself" :( I know how could I do it in any programming language such as Java, but get it done with bash script + regex seems not "a bit hard" but in fact "too hard" for anyone with little knowledge on something advanced as "lookahead"(is this the terminology ?) I don't know if there is a way to express the following concept in the language of regex: Valid entry would consist of exactly one of the three components : aaaa, aab and bb, regardless of order, followed by an arbitrary sequence of a or b's So this is what is should be like : (a{4}Ua{2}bUb{2})(aUb)* where the content in first braces is order irrelevant. Thanks a lot in advance for any hints and/or tips :)

  • When I try to redefine a variable, I get an index out of bounds error

    - by user2770254
    I'm building a program to act as a calculator with memory, so you can give variables and their values. Whenever I'm trying to redefine a variable, a = 5, to a = 6, I get an index out of bounds error. public static void main(String args[]) { LinkedHashMap<String,Integer> map = new LinkedHashMap<String,Integer>(); Scanner scan = new Scanner(System.in); ArrayList<Integer> values = new ArrayList<>(); ArrayList<String> variables = new ArrayList<>(); while(scan.hasNextLine()) { String line = scan.nextLine(); String[] tokens = line.split(" "); if(!Character.isDigit(tokens[0].charAt(0)) && !line.equals("clear") && !line.equals("var")) { int value = 0; for(int i=0; i<tokens.length; i++) { if(tokens.length==3) { value = Integer.parseInt(tokens[2]); System.out.printf("%5d\n",value); if(map.containsKey(tokens[0])) { values.set(values.indexOf(tokens[0]), value); variables.set(variables.indexOf(tokens[0]), tokens[0]); } else { values.add(value); } break; } else if(tokens[i].charAt(0) == '+') { value = addition(tokens, value); System.out.printf("%5d\n",value); variables.add(tokens[0]); if(map.containsKey(tokens[0])) { values.set(values.indexOf(tokens[0]), value); variables.set(variables.indexOf(tokens[0]), tokens[0]); } else { values.add(value); } break; } else if(i==tokens.length-1 && tokens.length != 3) { System.out.println("No operation"); break; } } map.put(tokens[0], value); } if(Character.isDigit(tokens[0].charAt(0))) { int value = 0; if(tokens.length==1) { System.out.printf("%5s\n", tokens[0]); } else { value = addition(tokens, value); System.out.printf("%5d\n", value); } } if(line.equals("clear")) { clear(map); } if(line.equals("var")) { variableList(variables, values); } } } public static int addition(String[] a, int b) { for(String item : a) { if(Character.isDigit(item.charAt(0))) { int add = Integer.parseInt(item); b = b + add; } } return b; } public static void clear(LinkedHashMap<String,Integer> b) { b.clear(); } public static void variableList(ArrayList<String> a, ArrayList<Integer> b) { for(int i=0; i<a.size(); i++) { System.out.printf("%5s: %d\n", a.get(i), b.get(i)); } } I included the whole code because I'm not sure where the error is arising from.

  • Hashes or tokens for "remember me" cookies?

    - by Emanuil Rusev
When it comes to remember me cookies, there are 2 distinct approaches: Hashes The remember me cookie stores a string that can identify the user (i.e. user ID) and a string that can prove that the identified user is the one it pretends to be - usually a hash based on the user password. Tokens The remember me cookie stores a random (meaningless), yet unique string that corresponds with with a record in a tokens table, that stores a user ID. Which approach is more secure and what are its disadvantages?

  • Read Velocity Tokens/Tag from .vm file

    - by user1801660
I have an application where in I am trying to create a velocity template repository which will help me centralise all my email templates and will allow me to create a communication hub. All templates will be called at runtime and populates with data via services. My problem is that I need to provide users with optional and compulsory params list when they define the template inputs for the velocity template. Is there a way to read the tokens/tags from the velocity template file and extract them?? Like I want a list of tokens $name.address.streetName to be available to me from .vm file. I do not want to go for Regex . I do not have to cache or reuse them , its just going to be a one time read and store the default, compulsory & optional params in the database. I am following these patterns : http://kickjava.com/src/org/apache/velocity/test/view/TemplateNodeView.java.htm How to use String as Velocity Template? Please advice.

  • find and replace tokens in javascript

    - by Sourabh
Hello, I have to do something like this string = " this is a good example to show" search = array {this, good, show} find and replace them with a token like string = " {1} is a {2} example to {3}" (order is intact) the string will undergo some processing and then string = " {1} is a {2} numbers to {3}" (order is intact) tokens are again replaced back to the string likem so that the string becomes string = " this is a good number to show" How should it be implemented so that the process is done at high performance ? Thanks in advance.

  • PHP Multiple form tokens

    - by Juddling
I understand the idea of generating a form token and storing it in a session, and also putting it as a hidden input in my forms. But how could I make this work if I have pages with multiple forms, is it still safe to use the same token for each form? And I still feel weary about bots and stuff on my website, can these form tokens really safely replace CAPTCHAs?

  • Rails: Generated tokens missing occasionally

    - by Vincent Chan
We generate an unique token for each user and store it on database. Everything is working fine in the local environment. However, after we upload the codes to the production server on Engine Yard, things become weird. We tried to register an account right after the deploy. It is working fine and we can see the token in the db. But after that, when we register new accounts, we cannot see any tokens. We only have NULL in the db. Not sure what caused this problem because we can't re-produce this in the local machine. Thanks for your help.

  • Service-Based Authentication Using Tokens

    - by jerhinesmith
I'm having a tough time trying to find clear and concise examples of how one would implement a service-based authentication scheme using tokens. As far as I can tell, the basic steps are as follows: Client requests username/password from user Client passes username/password to identity provider Provider checks username/password and sends back a token if the user is valid Client does something with the token? The third and fourth step are where I'm getting stuck. I assume the "token" in this case just has to be either an encrypted string that the client can decrypt or some random string that gets stored somewhere (i.e. a database) that the client can then verify against, but I'm not really sure what the client is then supposed to do with the token or why you even need a token at all -- couldn't a simple user ID also suffice?

  • Formatting numbers by tokens with php

    - by Adam D
I'm looking for a way to format numbers using "tokens". This needs to be conditional (for the first few leading characters). Example: <?php $styles=array('04## ### ###','0# #### ####','13# ###','1800 ### ###'); format_number(0412345678); /*should return '0412 345 678'*/ format_number(0812345678); /*should return '08 1234 5678'*/ format_number(133622); /*should return '133 622'*/ format_number(1800123456); /*should return '1800 123 456'*/ ?> Incase you haven't guessed, my use of this is to format Australian phone numbers, dependent on their 'type'. I have a PHP function that does this, but it is ~114 lines and contains a lot of repeated code. Can anyone help?

  • Boost.Program_options fixed number of tokens

    - by kloffy
Boost.Program_options provides a facility to pass multiple tokens via command line arguments as follows: std::vector<int> nums; po::options_description desc("Allowed options"); desc.add_options() ("help", "Produce help message.") ("nums", po::value< std::vector<int> >(&nums)->multitoken(), "Numbers.") ; po::variables_map vm; po::store(po::parse_command_line(argc, argv, desc), vm); po::notify(vm); However, what is the preferred way of accepting only a fixed number of arguments? The only solution I could come is to manually assign values: int nums[2]; po::options_description desc("Allowed options"); desc.add_options() ("help", "Produce help message.") ("nums", "Numbers.") ; po::variables_map vm; po::store(po::parse_command_line(argc, argv, desc), vm); if (vm.count("nums")) { // Assign nums } This feels a bit clumsy. Is there a better solution?
