  Hi; Can you suggest a way or a framework or etc. for JEE in order to make simple HTTP GET/POST calls to some web services like in SOAP web services but transport format must be JSON; not XML and there must not be any wrapper around(may be some vey lightweight header) like SOAP etc. In short, my purpose is to serve web services using JSON and HTTP Get/Post in a maximum possible lightweight solution. • Connection Multiplexing

  Hi; Supposing we have opened a connection of type either TCP or UDP to another remote machine. Having this connection, can we allow multiple connections virtually over this connection like VPN(but not VPN)? I mean multiple applications run on remote machine and you try to access to these applications, is there any multiplexing mechanism or concept supporting such feature?

• Socket Select with empty fd set

  Hi; Suppose you have an fd set which can have zero or more sockets in it. When I try to call select operation on empty fd set, what I get is -1 as the number of fds which are set, meaning error. So what would you suggest to overcome this problem, you might say do not call if empty but I have a loop and any time fd set can hold 0 or more sockets. What is the best approach about this problem? (we are on C programming language)

• How to pass sockets created to another Java Process

  Hi; We have an application which creates many sockets which belongs to its thread, By design if this application somehow fails, all threads stop which is not wanted. So to overcome this issue, each thread must be separated from the main application, if one of the threads fails, the other ones should be running. One thing in our mind is to pass created socket to another java process, so what is the correct way? An other approach also is welcome? Waiting for your suggestions...
