Some time before I changed two (2) keys in registry and it sends without asking me for accepting, but I migrated computer and forgot where the keys are. It's a kind of wiki/database with scenaristic tropes, patterns that you can find in tones of stories, in tv shows, games, books, etc. Each trope/pattern have a (funny) name and there are references to where it appears, and the other way arround : each book/game/etc. have a list of tropes that it contains. I'm looking for an equivalent but for game mechanics patterns, something like "Death is definitive", "Perfect physical control (no inertia)", "Excell table gameplay", etc. I think it would be really useful. I can't find an equivalent for game mechanics (tvtrope is oriented to scenario, not game mechanics). Do you know any?

    I am writing a program that writes to Excel files. I am restricted to writing to Excel 2007, which is fine, and I'm using EPPlus, which is a great utility. The thing is that I need to have macros and VBA enabled for an update function in the sheet, but EPPlus will only write to .xlsx files, not macro-enabled .xlsm files. If I try to write to .xlsm files it won't open. Is there another code library that lets me accomplish what I need (again that's writing to Excell 2007 Macro-enabled workbooks)?

    Hello I want to use fft in MATLAB to analize some exprimental data saved as an excell file. my code: A=xlsread('Book.xls'); G=A'; x=G(2, : ); N=length(x); F=[-N/2:N/2-1]/N; X = abs(fft(x-mean(x),N)) X = fftshift(X); plot(F,X) But it plots a graph with a large 0Hz wrong component, my true frequency is about 395Hz and it is not shown in the plotted graph. Please tell me what is wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

    I would like to create an input DataGrid - an empty set of rows with the column headers that can be filled with data by a user and then saved to a database. The DataGrid will not be therefore used to display data but acts like an input field. The behaviour would be similar to the one of Excell. The problem is that if the DataGrid has no data provided for it, it is not visible in the application and the user cannot enter anything. Is the DataGrid a good choice? How can this sort of functionality be implemented with a different control? I would prefer to use the DataGrid tough. Thanks a lot for any help on this.

  • Problem in filtering records using Dataview (C#3.0)

    I have a data table . The data table is basically getting populated from excel sheet. And there are many excel sheets. Henceforth, I have written a utility method for accomplishing the same. Now in some of the excel sheets, there are date columns and in some it is not(only text/string). My function is populating the values properly into the datatable from the excell sheet. But there are many blank rows in the excel sheets some are filled with NULL , some with " ". So I need to filter those records (which are NULL or " " ) first before further processing. What I am after is to use a dataview and apply the filter over there. DataView dv = dataTable.DefaultView; dv.RowFilter = ColumnName + " <> ''"; Well by using metedata (GetOleDbSchemaTable(OleDbSchemaGuid.Columns, restrection)) I was able to get the column names from the excel sheet , so getting the column names is not an issue. But the problem is as I said in some Excel sheet there are date fileds some are not. So the Filter condition of the Dataview needs to be proper. If I apply the above logic, and if it encounters a Datafield, it is throwing error Cannot perform '<' operation on System.DateTime and System.String. Could you people please help me out? I need to filter columns(not known at compile time + their data types) which can have NULL and " " I am using C#3.0 Thanks
