  • Can't configure 5.1 audio with 12.04

    I have an Intel ALC892 and a Nvidia GT 520m connected to speakers via HDMI. My sound setting looks like When I use the test dialog, only front left and right have sounds. If I use alsa in XBMC on a 5.1 video, there's no sound. If I use pulseaudio, only front right and left have sound. I can barely hear any speech since I'm guessing it's mapped to front center. Any clues?

  • Unpause application in Mac OS X

    I tried parsing a gigantic XML file and I ended up running out of virtual memory. The OS put all my applications on pause and gave me a screen to shutdown applications to free more space. I killed the XML parsing application and now have tons of space but I can't resume my paused applications anymore. What should I do?

  • Can't find disk usage in one directory

    Similar questions are asked frequently but no suggested answers solved my issue. I have some disk space usage that I can't find as well. It grows periodically and I'm running out of things to delete to feed the beast. It's all in the home directory of the only user I have.     Hi, I don't know how sketch this is. I currently have Bootcamp with Windows 7 on my internal along with my Snow Leopard. I'm moving to a bigger harddrive. I'm reinstalling Snow Leopard but I would like to keep my Bootcamp. How do I migrate the data from one drive to another? Any suggestions? I'm not willing to spend money on this

  • .NET DataGridView rows' default alignment all set to left

    DataGridView gets bound to DataTable. I then try to set some columns' DefaultCellStyle.Alignment to right. It doesn't work. After a bunch of tinkering, it turns out that every single row's DefaultCellStyle.Alignment is set to left and overrides it. DataGridView.DefaultCellStyle or RowsDefaultCellStyle doesn't do anything. Makes sense since a particular row's DefaultCellStyle is more specific but what gives. Why are they all set to something and not NotSet? How do I get rid of it instead of iterating through all rows?
