My HP Pavillion entertainment PC dv2000 does not boot up.
When I press the power button it turns and reads the CD and all the lights turn up, but does not go into boot mode.
What should I do?

I have a laptop here, a HP HDX 16 EO1000 with a Blu-Ray drive.
Installed on the machine is a software package called HP MediaSmart, which presumably can play Blu-Ray movies.
