I have more than 1M users and i need to send newsletters to. I have tried PHPList but it has failed as it gets stalled every 30K emails. I need a faster and more reliable solution.

I'm using Google Apps for my domain's e-mail via IMAP. Whenever I send mail to a mailing list, I don't receive a copy of my own mail back in my inbox. According to Google, this is a "feature."
Is there a way to disable this "feature" so that all mail I send to mailing lists appears in my inbox…

This seems like it should be fairly easy to do, but I've run into a few problems.
I've added a cron job to parse all users whose UID is greater than 5000:

I used to use Emacs/GNUS for reading mailing lists, but that feels very 1990. Plus, it doesn't sync my scoring across PCs.
