I want to step up from the slow AGP graphics world to the latest PCI Express one.

I understand that the PCIe x16 is the fastest, so which desktop would you suggest I buy?

My interests are mainly gaming, so what PCIe x16 video card is worth buying to play today's and tomorrow's games?
