SharePoint 2007 no results in search

I'm using sharepoint server 2007 SP2 SQL2000 SP4.

When I perform search I get no results.

In the past I used hot fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941422 which resolved this issue

but I can't use it now after upgrading to SP2.

Any ideas how to fix it?
