After 3 files transferred through sftp using FileZilla, the queue halts. What could be causing it?

And when it's happening, all I need to do is browse the internet using Chrome or Firefox, restart FileZilla, and start the queue of files with 32MB each. Then on the 4th file in the queue, the transfer halts or slows down. What could be causing it?

I'm running on 64-bit Fedora 12. Buffalo WHR-G125.
