I would like to name my css file mystyles.php. All content within will still be css. I'd like to then include this into my index.php page without using the standard HTML <link> tag. Any direction would be appreciated very much.

I have been trying to resolve my issue of spiking cpu caused by php-fpm processes. I've reduced the php-fpm config settings to:
pm = ondemand
pm.max_children = 12
pm.start_servers = 2
pm.min_spare_servers = 2

Although it works, but my understanding is that it should set as following:

I have the following problem.
I installed mod_pagespeed but i am not getting the results i want!
It does rewrite my css and changes the to the cache url but its not combining the css files.
