I have gone to system preferences and set it to the absolutely maximum on the slider bar and its still fairly slow - much slower than I am used to on my PC!?

I've done the launchctl load command, the symlinks point to my /opt/local//etc/LaunchDaemeons/org.macports.apache2/org.macports.apache2.plist, but it never starts. I can start it manually, works fine after that. Just wont load on startup…

When I try to enable the FTP service in the preferences (File Sharing-Options-Share Files and Folders Using FTP) the check box enables and then disables again. The console is giving me the message :

Just received new Apple Magic Mouse and tried to install it on my computer with Ubuntu 9.10.

Using generic Windows bluetooth drivers + Apple Wireless Mouse drivers as Bluetooth HID service. The mouse is connected. It just does not do anything. It does not show up under mice in hardware manager, just as Bluetooth HID.
Not using the Apple drivers does not work either.
