SSH issue when do the Git clone

Hi

i have my own ubuntu linux box .... in that i have /home/username/.ssh/id_rsa.pub .. i copied the public key and paste the key into Git Hub. when i try to clone the git repository it says the following error

warning: Authentication failed. Disconnected; no more authentication methods available (No further authentication methods available.).

I have no idea what is wrong with that.... i have putty tool which connect my server with doing authenetication. becuase i copied my public key to my server known host folder.

Can any one please help on this .... its heart breaking here.......
