I see in some topics that to install ubuntu-one, I've to execute these commands :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:apachelogger/ubuntuone-kde
sudo apt-get update

My question is pretty simple. I have Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity and I want to login with KDE.
I have seen recommendations to:
1- run the three commands:

I do not use the wired Ethernet Card. It seems to me that, Ubuntu is always trying in boot time to check the network via eth0, Which consumes some times and I guess this may slow down the boot process a bit. My dmesg output is below (partial)

i want to write a mapviewer, i must to work small tile of big map image file and there is need to tiling the big image, the problem now is to tiling big image to small tiles (250 * 250 pixel or like this size)
