When reading definitions for a server service (e.g. iis) you will often find that there are several cross references to a virtual server but none seem to definitively refer to the two as the same.....

Can somebody help me to understand the differences - I cannot get my head around what the difference between each is?

Ideally I would like to know the differences between the following/or indeed if any refer to the same...

1) Logical Server 2) Virtual Host 3) Logical Partition 4) Physical Server Vs Virtual Server 5) Server Service Vs Virtual Host
