how to mask Cocos2d

Hi i'am iOS developer but i'm new to cocos2d.Im working on new game i use Kobold2d Have cocos2d installed too and i want to make this effect.

I Know how is done on flash, but cant make it in kobold. There 2 images with the same size one is like low-res image for background and the secon hi-res over the first one,when the "reticle" mask move reveal the second image inside the circle and outsite only the background is visible. I was googling with no success, saw some ray wenderlich projects but not helpful.Any help
