Fetch as Googlebot works but Submit to Index does not for AJAX urls

First I fetch as googlebot, then I am prompted to Submit to Index. This I want to do, but the tool just re-prompts me. This does not happen when I am just submitting a standard url. For those urls I get a confirmation that they were submitted to the index. It only occurs when I am submitting a AJAX url. I know the urls are searchable, as I have performed many tests and see the results using /?_escaped_fragment_=

Here is an example url: http://www.townbeam.com/#!events

Can someone shed some light on this?
