Ubuntu 12.04-2 does not install with UEFI

I'm in trouble to instal Ubuntu in Insipiron 14z.

I've already created this question (that was wrongly marked as duplicated):

First question

But, the error seems to be with UEFI. If I disable UEFI on BIOS Setup, I can get into installation process of Ubuntu normally. But, I didn't finish the installation process because I think that will screw Windows 8 installation.

So my questions is:

Ubuntu installation should work with UEFI. So, why it didn't?
Knowing that the error is with UEFI. I can forget the errors listed here?
