I was confronted with a very vague statement today, but unfortunately I had no clue how to respond or analyse this.

Co-worker told me ubuntu server LTS is not built for production env.

What is there that makes it not built for production environment? (obviously no answer followed, so this is my question to you...)

is it ...packages? ...ease of use? ...supported systems? ...stability? ...support? ...popularity?
