Trouble upgrading from 12.04 to 14.04.1 lts

After running these commands from the command line:

sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade sudo do-release-upgrade -d

i get the following error message:

W:Failed to fetch http://extras.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/oneiric/main/source/Sources 404 Not Found , E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

PLEASE HELP anyone. How can i fix this bug?
