  • Howto monitor traffic between IIS and MSSQL

    Hello @all, i try to check how much traffic flows between MSSQL Server and IIS Server in different Locations. There are 1 ipcop in every Location and i download the tcpdump file from one Firewall and search for DST=ipmssql and SRC=ipIIS but i did not find the ip from the Database Server. But there are traffic between both. Any suggestions why i did not find the IP Adress from the MSSQL Server? Is this an configuration failure in IPCop or is the Traffic between ISS and MSSQL so strange :-) Regards Rene

    Hi all, I was just wondering, is Graphics.DrawImage() asynchronous? I'm struggling with a thread safety issue and can't figure out where the problem is. if i use the following code in the GUI thread: protected override void OnPaint(PaintEventArgs e) { lock (_bitmapSyncRoot) { e.Graphics.DrawImage(_bitmap, _xPos, _yPos); } } And have the following code in a separate thread: private void RedrawBitmapThread() { Bitmap newBitmap = new Bitmap(_width, _height); // Draw bitmap // Bitmap oldBitmap = null; lock (_bitmapSyncRoot) { oldBitmap = _bitmap; _bitmap = newBitmap; } if (oldBitmap != null) { oldBitmap.Dispose(); } Invoke(Invalidate); } Could that explain an accessviolation exception? The code is running on a windows mobile 6.1 device with compact framework 3.5.

    I have defined a class named MyClass and I have defined two methods myMethod1 and myMethod2 for it: function MyClass() {} MyClass.prototype.myMethod1 = function() {...}; MyClass.prototype.myMethod2 = function() {...}; Inside myMethod1, I use jQuery and there's a callback closure defined there: MyClass.prototype.myMethod2 = function() { $.jQuery({success: function(data) { this.myMethod2(); }, ...}); } Now the problem is that this no longer is referring to MyClass. The question is how can I refer to it? At the moment I have assigned it to a variable named thisObj and access it this way: MyClass.prototype.myMethod2 = function() { var thisObj = this; $.jQuery({success: function(data) { thisObj.myMethod2(); }, ...}); } Is there a better way to access MyClass.this from the closure nested in myMethod2? I read http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/designer-using-a-ui-file.html to use these GUI elements in my code and using multiple inheritance approach. I am introducing bookmark feature which somewhat look like http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/3041/screenshotyb.png. Now the problem I am facing is How can I show all existing bookmark folders in the drop down(say folders are in a QVector). So my main problem is how can I pass some inputs to the UI element.   • Geolocation under firefox 3.6 requires Proxy Authentication?

    I am trying to share my location on geolocation enabled pages from firefox 3.6, but doesn't seem to get any kind of success or failures. When I wrote my custom js containing navigator.geolocation.getCurrentPosition(func1,func2), the success callback isn't called at all. When I tamper the http requests on firefox, the request to https://www.google.com/loc/json returns with status: 407 [Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied. )]... Yes, my network is behind a proxy server. But the same works with Chrome. I didn't try other browsers yet.

  • Query and/or Search for SharePoint Document ID

    We have the sharepoint 2010 environment with Document ID's enabled. Given (part of) a Doc ID, we want to programmatically retrieve the document(s) matching that ID. The problem seems to be that this column is rather special, in that it might need special handling. Using an SPSiteDataQuery, fetching the _dlc_DocId field as part of the viewfields works fine. However, including it as part of the where query never results in any documents being fetched. Using the Search API has gotten us nowhere at all. Has anyone pulled this off, or any suggestions on how to tackle this problem? [Update] Looks like DocumentIdProvider.GetDocumentUrlsById might be used for this purpose. If necessary, the matching SPListItem can then be found by querying on the URL. However, the MSDN documentation doesn't document the documentId arugment properly, so I'm unsure whether partial ID's are allowed and in what format.

  • postfix: deliver mail to specific emai addresses locally and send the rest to relayhost

    I want to achieve the following with postfix: Almost all outgoing emails shall be sent via a relayhost, configured in main.cf with relayhost = my.mailserver There's one specific email address ([email protected]) for which I want the email to be delivered locally. I set up a local account on the machine to match the email address and added "mydomain.com" to the mydestination property in main.cf. Then of course postfix tries to deliver every email to @mydomain.com locally and bounces them because the respective user doesn't exist. Question http://serverfault.com/questions/149453/hybrid-gmail-mx-postfix-for-local-accounts seems to be somewhat related (though more complicated).

    Hello, currently I have 2 servers with Fault Tolerance working with another server with openfiler as a iSCSI server (looks like without that Fault Tolerance does not work). I would like to remove that server and put the openfiler distribution as another Fault Tolerance protected machine. Is this possible? This way i could save one server and also have faster HD access.   • Can connect to EC2 as ubuntu user but not as the user i created

    I created a new ebs backed EC2-instance and the necessary key-pair. Now I am able to connect to the instance as ubuntu user. Once i did that I created another user and added it to the sudoers list but I am unable to connect to the instance as the new user I created. I get the following error. I am using the same key to connect with the new user i created. Can somebody help me. Am I missing something here? Permission denied (publickey)"
