  • Android 1.5 Gridview Problem,Pls help me.Thanks

    I used a gridview in this app.The xml file like this: When i run it at Verison 1.6 or newer. it's ok.   • accessing variable sheet ranges within Google spreadsheet?

    I've been trying to keep this little project entirely within Google docs, but I may have hit a wall. The spreadsheet is being used as a way for multiple users to record individual events with a Template they duplicate. I want to be able to compile a list of names of those attended onto a "report" sheet from all of the unique sheets, which should be after a certain sheet index [3] to [infinite]. Is this sort of variable sheet range possible in Google spreadsheets or do I need to go to the API to get this accomplished?

  • SendMessage (F4) fails when sending it to window

    Working with Visual Studio 6 (VC++ 6.0) I'm using an ActiveX datepicker control which I fail to show expanded by default (3006216). Alternatively I'm trying to send a keyboard message (F4) to my window to open up the control, but nothing happens when I do so... // try 1: use the standard window handle LRESULT result = ::SendMessage(m_hWnd,VK_F4, 0, 0); // try 2: use just use the SendMessage result = SendMessage(VK_F4); result is always 0 - what can I do to test/verify the message sending?     class Question < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :author end class Author < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :questions end When I find some questions, I usually need to get their authors at the same time, so I use: Question.find(:all, :include=>:authors) But I don't write the ":include" part everywhere. I hope I can define the "include" somewhere only once, and when I find questions, the author will be automaticly loaded. Is there any way to do this?

    I have a countdown timer that will show a target amount to be fundraised like USD1000000 and slowly count backwards to zero over a period of days. I'd like it that a when a user revisits/refreshes the page the counter persists and continues. I've read that javascript cookies can be used for this, just don't know how to implement them, any help?

  • How to express inter project dependencies in Eclipse PDE

    I am looking for the best practice of handling inter project dependencies between mixed project types where some of the projects are eclipse plug-in/OSGI bundle projects (an RCP application) and others are just plain old java projects (web services modules). Few of the eclipse plug-ins have dependencies on Java projects. My problem is that at least as far as I've looked, there is no way of cleanly expressing such a dependency in Eclipse PDE environment. I can have plug-in projects depend on other plug-in projects (via Import-Package or Require-Bundle manifest headers), but not of the plain java projects. I seem to be able to have project declare a dependency on a jar from another project in a workspace, but these jar files do not get picked up by neither export nor launch configuration (although, java code editing sees the libraries just fine). The "Java projects" are used for building services to be deployed on an J2EE container (JBoss 4.2.2 for the moment) and produce in some cases multiple jar's - one for deploying to the JBoss ear and another for use by client code (an RCP application). The way we've "solved" this problem for now is that we have 2 more external tools launcher configurations - one for building all the jar's and another for copying these jar's to the plug-in projects. This works (sort of), but the "whole build" and "copy jars" targets incur quite a large build step, bypassing the whole eclipse incremental build feature and by copying the jars instead of just referencing the projects I am decoupling the dependency information and requesting quite a massive workspace refresh that eats up the development time like it was candy. What I would like to have is a much more "natural" workspace setup that would manage dependencies between projects and request incremental rebuilds only as they are needed, be able to use client code from service libraries in an RCP application plug-ins and be able to launch the RCP application with all the necessary classes where they are needed. So can I have my cake and eat it too ;) NOTE To be clear, this is not so much about dependency management and module management at the moment as it is about Eclipse PDE configuration. I am well aware of products like [Maven], [Ivy] and [Buckminster] and they solve a quite different problem (once I've solved the workspace configuration issue, these products can actually come in handy for materializing the workspace and building the product)

    Hello. Qt has a build-in supprt for creating objects with integrated reference counting via QSharedData and QSharedDataPointer. All wordks great, but for each such object i need to write a lot of code: QSharedData-based implementation class with constructor and copy constructor, object class itsef with accessor methods for each filed. For a simple structures with 5-10 fields this requires really lot of near same code. Is it some ways to automate such classes generation? Maybe it's some generators exists that take a short description and automatically generates implementation class and object class with all accessors?

  • Dedicated server given, how to start?

    Hello, I've been given a dedicated server. Unfortunately, I have no idea what to do / how to manage it. I have background in many fields on Computer Science but never got to focus on networking, server management, etc. What I'm asking is for recommended books, Basically, I would like to be able to be proficient and understand well how to manage domain names, zones, setting up mail servers, being able to install easily any web server, and such. Everything needed for proper server management through the shell. I will probably stick with Parallels, or Cpanel for a bit. But I dislike those, especially how it add a lot of intruding user accounts and configs on the file system. Thank you

  • Jetty8 virtual hosts

    I have a server JAR that is deployed once per customer, it is the API server for their software package. To that end, the port for each API instance must be the same, so that anything programmed against it can always find it. Each instance is deployed on a different domain name The problem I'm having is that, even when using a SelectChannelConnector and setting the host property, I can't get two instances to run simultaneously, I get a BindException with "Address already in use". I suppose my question is: can Jetty do this, or do I need to do some external re-writing, or is there a better way I can go about achieving the same ends? Thanks.

  • Uuntu 9.10 will not boot

    After an update yesterday my Dell X300 will only boot to a screen with an option to perform 2 memory tests. If I perform these tests, it will only go back to this same screen, offering a choice of memory test again, 86+ or 86+ serial console 115200. This screen is headed - GNU Grub version 1.97 beta 4. This is a full install on my hard drive. How can I get back to booting normally?

  • Storing unique ID in UITableViewCell

    I have a table where there will often be two cells with the same title. I'm zooming in on a map whenever a cell in the table is clicked, so using the title as a unique identifier is out of the question. I already have a unique identifier, but I need to find a way to store it in a UITableViewCell object. I have been considering two options, both of which are poor, IMO. 1) store the unique ID as the text inside the text of the detailTextLabel property. 2) build a custom UITableViewCell class. I'm new to objective C, and I would essentially like to know if theres a third option that isnt as inefficient as #1, but not as involved as #2. Thanks

    Hi everyone, I'm wondering why the Motorola Milestone with 2.1-update1 behaves differently from the Emulator or e.g. the Nexus One. I am trying to exit my app with: @Override protected void onPause() { if(mayDestroyActivity) this.finish(); super.onPause(); } This works well on either Emulator or Nexus One. onDestroy() gets called immediatly after onPause() and onStop. But not for the Milestone. Instead, onDestroy() gets called when another Activity is started.     Hi all, I'm using NSInvocation as follows: In my init, I'm writing this in my viewDidLoad: SEL mySelector; mySelector = @selector(initParsersetId:type:); NSMethodSignature * sig = nil; sig = [[self class] instanceMethodSignatureForSelector:mySelector]; myInvocation = nil; myInvocation = [NSInvocation invocationWithMethodSignature:sig]; [myInvocation setTarget:self]; [myInvocation setSelector:mySelector]; SEL mySelector; mySelector = @selector(initParsersetId:type:); NSMethodSignature * sig = nil; sig = [[self class] instanceMethodSignatureForSelector:mySelector]; myInvocation = nil; myInvocation = [NSInvocation invocationWithMethodSignature:sig]; [myInvocation setTarget:self]; [myInvocation setSelector:mySelector]; And I'm calling it like this: Idea *tempIdea = [[Idea alloc]init]; tempIdea = [genericArray objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]; idea.ideaId = tempIdea.ideaId; [tempIdea release]; NSNumber *_id_ = [NSNumber numberWithInt:idea.ideaId]; [myInvocation setArgument:_id_ atIndex:2]; //CRASHING AT THIS LINE My application is crashing at the indicated line. Can anybody please help me?
