    We have a java application bundled as an applet or as webstart. The client java plugin caches the jar files on the client machine and downloads a new version if there is one. Is it possible to deliver this jar files using a CDN? What are the issues involved? Which CDNs would work for jar delivery? Is this different from static content delivery like images or video?

  • Server 2003 will not allow user to use login name Jon_B?

    have a set up that has server 2003 we are using in our class that will not accept using of the username Jon_B but will work under another bogus name used? also, his partner for his team using the same computer has no problem. is there a use in server 2003 for a command named Jon_B which keeps it from being used as a login username? all other students including myself can login fine into server.

But the result is, only one file is installed (attached) to the artifact. The maven protocol is: distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip distrib-0.1-SNAPSHOT.zip The plugin is using the artifact-id instead of property finalName! Is this a bug? The last installation is overwriting the first one. What can i do to install this two files with different names? Thanks for your investigation. Roland

  • Object-C: initWithContentsOfURL returning null

I'm working on an app that would display a remote html and use local images, so what I'm trying to do is download the HTML of the website and display it as a "local" page, that would have access to images in my bundle. For some reason I can't get initWithContentsOfURL to work. I checked all manuals and examples I could find and it seems that I'm doing it correctly, but the thing just won't work, returns null all the time. The same page loaded with NSURLRequest requestWithURL works fine. Appreciate your help!     Without paging function, i can loop through the gridview by using var sum = 0; var gridViewCtlId = '<%=timesheetView.ClientID%>'; var grid = document.getElementById(gridViewCtlId); var gridLength = grid.rows.length; so with gridLength i can loop through the gridview to sum all rows. However, when I use paging event of gridview, i use the page size to loop through all rows, but it occurs errors because the last page may not have enough rows. So would you please to help me how to get the rows in the each page of gridview?

    On a new machine, installed ruby with the 1-click installer for windows. Installed rails 2.3.2 and all associated gems, then I installed the sqlite3 binaries (into the c:\ruby\bin folder). Lastly I did gem install sqlite3-ruby -v=1.2.3 (which is apparently the latest version that works with windows) This error happens when I run rake db:migrate or when any ActiveRecord object is touched at runtime. Whe I launch the program in the emulator, I get a huge number of errors (none of the exceptions seems to be related with lines in my code).
