Apps | Versions: Python 2.6.2 Django (working with PostgreSQL) Question: I wrote a simple model: class OperationType(models.Model): eid = models.IntegerField(unique=True) name = models.CharField(max_length=64) def __unicode__(self): tpl = 'eid="', str(self.eid), '" name="', self.name, '"' return ''.join(tpl) Now I need to initialize it, for example with this data: 0, "None" 1, "Add" 2, "Edit" 3, "Delete" But I need to initialize this data not with admin web panel, but after class model created in the same code.   • Remove the hash after Ajax loading (I'm ajaxing wordpress 8-) )

    Hi everybody, I followed this great tutorial to"ajax" my blog:http://www.deluxeblogtips.com/2010/05/how-to-ajaxify-wordpress-theme.html But it creates some problems and I think the problem is in the hash that ajax creates. So, after the content is loaded, how can I remove the hash from the url?   • JavaFX media player in mobile

    Does anyone have any tutorials in playing videos in javafx applications in mobile? My codes strangely work only in desktop execution. But the official site of JavaFX says it plays in mobile phones. I used their sample code and guess what, it doesn't play on the mobile phone too.     I've just started a very simple WPF application which consists of a main large image and four smaller images. In order to assist with the layout, I created some JPEGs in MsPaint containing the images -2, -1, 0, +1 and +2 and just copied them into the top level of the project directory. Details | V The file plus2.jpg is not part of the project or its 'Build Action' property is not set to 'Resource'. Yet if I rename the file to plus3.jpg or plus2x.jpg, I don't have that problem. Why is it complaining about plus2.jpg specifically?

  • "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" error in Windows 7 (ASP.NET & Web Service)

    I have an asp.net web app which works fine in Windows XP machine in a domain. I am porting it to a Windows 7 stand alone machine. The app uses a web service which makes a call to sql server. The web server (IIS 7.5) and SQL Server are on the same stand alone machine. I enabled Windows authentication for the website and web service. The web service uses a trusted connection connection string. The web service credentials uses System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials. I noticed username, password and domainname are blank after the call! The webservice and web site use an application pool with identity "Network Service". I am getting an exception "NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON" in the database call in the web service. I am assuming it's related to the blank credentials. I am expecting ASPNET user to be the security token to the database. Why is this not happening? (Usually this happens when sql server and web server are on two different machines in a domain, delegation & double hopping, but in my case everything is on a dev box)

  • python threading and performace?

    I had to do heavy I/o bound operation, i.e Parsing large files and converting from one format to other format. Initially I used to do it serially, i.e parsing one after another..! Performance was very poor ( it used take 90+ seconds). So I decided to use threading to improve the performance. I created one thread for each file. ( 4 threads) for file in file_list: t=threading.Thread(target = self.convertfile,args = file) t.start() ts.append(t) for t in ts: t.join() But for my astonishment, there is no performance improvement whatsoever. Now also it takes around 90+ seconds to complete the task. As this is I/o bound operation , I had expected to improve the performance. What am I doing wrong?

  • Are there any reasons to duplicate table in the same database ?

    Let says we have several MySQL server, one master and some slaves. A member table which contains more than 5.000.000 peoples. Are there any reasons (performance, atomicity, etc..) to use duplicate tables like member_1, member_2, member_3 and then switch randomly when doing operation on it ? (especialy SELECT query) ?

  • How to PERMANENTLY disable touchpad tap-to-click on Dell Inspiron/Windows 7

    Hi all - my first time here, so I hope you can help. I've seen a lot of stuff on various forums (including here) about disabling the annoying "tap" function on a laptop touchpad. I learned the hard way not to de-install the driver (as the software suggests), since you then loose the Synaptic tab in the mouse control settings, and with it all means to modify the touchpad settings ... indicentally, if this happens to you, reboot in safe mode and do a restore, and the synaptic tab comes back. Not ideal, I know, but it works. Anyway, I have the most up-to-date drivers, and I can go to the Synaptics tab and can disable the tap-to-click function no problem. However, next time the machine is booted, tap-to-click is back on. It can alsways be disabled, but it's pain having to reset it every time the mchine is powered up. Is there a way to permanently disable it, once and for all? Thanks in advance, Graham

  • TeamCity Scheduled Build not getting all files from VSS

    Within TeamCity if I trigger a build it all works correctly, however if the Scheduler triggers a build it does not seem to get all the files from VSS. I have clean checkout directory turned on, so I am not sure how it determines the patch for the VSS root. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it to always get all files, and create a new patch each time? I have put the start of two build logs below, as you can see the first one has the correct 249mb, whereas the second only transfers 2MB. The files it doesn't get from VSS seem sporadic and not in relation to what has changed.   • Kill a node in dojo.dnd.source ?

Now I need t kill it, nuke it - get it out of there. Out of the dnd.Source, out of the DOM... gone. Any ideas how to do it safely? It will be the ONLY node in the list at the time we do whatever it is we are goign to do to kill the thing. Thanks!
