    What is the unique identifier for an iPhone app? In the info.plist file, there are keys: Bundle display name Executable file Bundle identifier Bundle name If I have already submitted an app on the AppStore before. Then I change some of the keys in the project. Which of the above can be changed freely and AppStore still considers my app is same as the existing one? Thanks!

    I have table where the one of columns is geometry column the_geom for polygons with SRID. I added new column in the same table with exactly the same geometry data as in the_geom. This another column has name the_geom4258 because I want here to set up another SRID=4258. So what is the procedure to set up another SRID geometry to be changed (in another coord.system)? Is just enough to apply following query: UPDATE table SET the_geom4258=ST_SetSRID(the_geom4258,4258);

  • GUI for server-client program

    I am making a server-client application in c++. In this i am also using shared memory & file read-write operations. my program is completely ready & i now wants to make a gui for it. someone suggested me to go for QT4, but when i tried it, i found i have to re-write 80% of the code because QT has got its own classes & variable. i don't want to do it. i want suggestions from you on this regard. my requirements for gui are very simple i.e there will be a main form, which will have two text boxes in which all messages being sent & received by client & server should be shown. there should be another lineedit box, through which i can send the messages to the other end server. I don't know how to make this gui. someone suggested tcl/tk, other suggested me use php/swig. i am not sure how to go about this. my only requirement is that i want to make this simple gui with minimum of changes in my code.   • Downsampling the number of entries in a list (without interpolation)

    I have a Python list with a number of entries, which I need to downsample using either: A maximum number of rows. For example, limiting a list of 1234 entries to 1000. A proportion of the original rows. For example, making the list 1/3 its original length. (I need to be able to do both ways, but only one is used at a time). I believe that for the maximum number of rows I can just calculate the proportion needed and pass that to the proportional downsizer: def downsample_to_max(self, rows, max_rows): return downsample_to_proportion(rows, max_rows / float(len(rows))) ...so I really only need one downsampling function. Any hints, please? EDIT The list contains objects, not numeric values so I do not need to interpolate. Dropping objects is fine.

    In C, I could declare a compiler directive as follows: #define MY_NUMBER 10 However, in C#, I only appear to be able to do this: #define MY_NUMBER Which is obviously useless in this case. Is this correct, or am I doing something wrong? If not, can anyone suggest a way of doing this, either at namespace or solution level? I thought of maybe creating a static class, but that seems to be overkill for one value.

  • Strange behavior from Firefox and Paypal Plugin

    Ok, so I use the paypal plugin with firefox, which is really nice because you can generate single use credit-cards on the fly. However, recently it's been acting strange. Normally, when you use the plugin, a drop-down window open in firefox. However, at some point (I'm not sure exactly when it happened, because I thought it wasn't working for a while) the drop-down window started appearing in thunderbird. As in, I click on the plugin button in firefox, and the plugin window immediately opens in Thunderbird. If Thunderbird is closed, the plugin does not open at all. I can use it normally this way (everything works except the receipt-saving function). but the whole affair seems a little odd to me. Is there any reason that could cause things to be redirected from one mozilla-application-window to another mozilla-application-window? Everything is up to date: Firefox 3.6.3 Thunderbird 3.0.5 Paypal Plugin 2.2.26.0

  • Using NVL function in SQL, please help!

    I'm needing to select first and last name in a table which is working fine in the following SQL, but the part that isn't working is the NVL function. The file should show all pilots at a company that fly helicopters and IF they don't have a licence the field HT_NAME should come up as 'N/A' and the field for end hours flown should be 0. I've put NVL function in as my text details but it still isn't working. Have i made a syntax error? Help would be appreciated. Select E.EMP_NBR, E.EMP_FIRSTNAME || ' ' || E.EMP_LASTNAME, E.EMP_PILOT, ED.HT_NBR, NVL(HT.HT_NAME, 'N/A'), NVL(ED.END_HRS_FLOWN, 0), ED.END_LAST_ANNUAL_REVIEW_DATE From ENDORSEMENT ED, EMPLOYEE E, HELICOPTER_TYPE HT WHERE HT.HT_NBR = ED.HT_NBR (+) ORDER BY ED.END_HRS_FLOWN DESC, E.EMP_FIRSTNAME || ' ' || E.EMP_LASTNAME ASC; should make employees who are not pilots appear with a N/A under heli type and 0 under hours flown. It isn't working - even though I have tried multiple things to repair it.
