  • Broken JS Loop with Google Maps...

    My code is below, and I had an issue with nearly the same code, and it was fixed here on StackOverflow, but, again, its not working. I haven't changed the working code, but i did wrap it in the for...in loop youll see below.   • iPhone: Jump to next uitextfield in uitableview, how to?

    In my iPhone project I'm using a UITableview with UITableViewCells containing UITextfields. I have seen in many apps that it is possible to use a next button to jump to the next textfield in the next cell. What is the best way to accomplish this? My idea is to get the indexPath of the cell with the textfield that is being editing and then get the next cell by cellForRowAtIndexPath. But how can I get the indexPath of the cell I'm currently editing? Thanks!

  • Monotouch UIScrollView/UIPageView with UITableView as panel

    Hi I'm building an app which is a guide to festivals. In the app I show lineups. You can see the Ui I have built for this on the video here: http://wmcstar.com/download.html The problem I have is that the scrollview/UIPageView - which does the left/right scrolling through the days, sometimes conflicts (i think) with the up/down scrolling of the days lineup UITableView and crashes. It doesn't crash if I disable scrolling - so the only way to switch between days is by selecting the day and programatically scrolling to the day rather than by using touch gestures. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? w://

    In C#4.0, we have dynamic type, but how to invoke static method of dynamic type object? Below code will generate exception at run time. class Foo { public static int Sum(int x, int y) { return x + y; } } class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { dynamic d = new Foo(); Console.WriteLine(d.Sum(1, 3)); } } IMHO, dynamic is invented to bridge C# and other programming language. There is some other language (e.g. Java) allows to invoke static method through object instead of type. BTW, The introduction of C#4.0 is not so impressive compared to C#3.0.

  • WTSQuerySessionInformation returning empty strings

    I've written a program which should query the Terminal Services API and print out some state information about the sessions running on a terminal services box. I'm using the WTSQuerySessionInformation function to do this and it's returning some data but most of the data seems to be missing... Does anyone know why?   • Can Windows Mobile Synch Services use a business layer

    We're building a Win Mobile 6 warehouse app which needs to update our server based corporate DB. We've got a C# business layer that sits on our app server and we'd really like our warehouse app to go through this. We also like MS Synch Services. Is there a way to combine the two ie can we use sync services but get them to go through our business layer ? Has anyone done this and got an example I can follow ?   • Final classes in Python 3.x- something Guido isn't telling me?

    This question is built on top of many assumptions. If one assumption is wrong, then the whole thing falls over. I'm still relatively new to Python and have just entered the curious/exploratory phase. It is my understanding that Python does not support the creating of classes that cannot be subclassed (final classes). However, it seems to me that the bool class in Python cannot be subclassed. This makes sense when the intent of the bool class is considered (because bool is only supposed to have two values: true and false), and I'm happy with that. What I want to know is how this class was marked as final.   • MouseWheel Event Fire

    I have a problem on calling my private method on MouseWheel event. In fact my mouse wheel event gets fired properly when i only increment a variable or display something in Title bar etc. But when i want to call a private method, that method gets called only one time which is not the requirement i want to call that method depending on the speed of scroll i.e. when scroll is done one time slowly call the private method one time but when the scroll is done in high speed call the private method more than one time depending on the scroll speed. I want to login to a website via POST, then POST to another page and get its contents whilst still retaining my session. Is this possible with VB.net without using WebBrowser control ?     I'm trying to populate a TDBGrid with the results of the following TQuery against the file Journal.db: select * from Journal where Journal.where = "RainPump" I've tried both Journal."Where" and Journal.[Where] to no avail. I've also tried: select Journal.[Where] as "Location" - with the same result. Journal.db is a file created by a third party and I am unable to change the field names. The problem is that the field I'm interested in is called 'where' and understandably causes the above error. How do I reference this field without causing the BDE (presumably) to explode?

    Hi all, I am creating a blackberry apllication which pre-dominantly uses ObjectListFields..All i need now is to draw an image as a background for each cell. I know this is quiet possible but i am not getting hold of the procedure. if i draw bitmap in drawlistrow() function the bluehighlight gets into the background and the cell highlight becomes very hard to read......can anybody help me with a code snippet to get through this problem ....thanks...

What are my options besides SMB (SAMBA)? Does OpenAFS support user level authentication & access? Using mounted WebDAV/ftp/sshfs seems silly for LAN.

    I'm attempting to use CouchDB for a system that requires full auditing of all data operations. Because of its built in revision-tracking, couch seemed like an ideal choice. But then I read in the O'Reilly textbook that "CouchDB does not guarantee that older versions are kept around." I can't seem to find much more documentation on this point, or how couch deals with its revision-tracking internally. Is there any way to configure couch either on a per-database, or per-document level to keep all versions around forever? If so, how?
