  • Trying to write junit test missing some basisc

    When I try to use assertNotLesser or assertNotGreater I get compile error .. and eclipse suggest me to create a new method called like this .. http://junit-addons.sourceforge.net/junitx/framework/ComparableAssert.html I found it here I never used these options before but I need to write this test, I can do it jmock as well but I don't know how .. I need to compare my expected results let say 0, if the real result is greater that the test should fail.

    Hello, I am looking for a way to call successfully custom function from submitHandler to do proper ajax post.   • Unbuffered subprocess output (last line missing)

    I must be overlooking something terribly obvious. I need to execute a C program, display its output in real time and finally parse its last line, which should be straightforward as the last line printed is always the same. process = subprocess.Popen(args, shell = True, stdout = subprocess.PIPE, stderr = subprocess.PIPE) # None indicates that the process hasn't terminated yet. while process.poll() is None: # Always save the last non-emtpy line that was output by the child # process, as it will write an empty line when closing its stdout. out = process.stdout.readline() if out: last_non_empty_line = out if verbose: sys.stdout.write(out) sys.stdout.flush() # Parse 'out' here... Once in a while, however, the last line is not printed. The default value for Popens's bufsize is 0, so it is supposed to be unbuffered. I have also tried, to no avail, adding fflush(stdout) to the C code just before exiting, but it seems that there is absolutely no need to flush a stream before exiting a program. Ideas anyone?

  • Why should I use a thread vs using a process?

    I'm a newbie at this so please forgive me for my ignorance. Separating different parts of a program into different processes seems (to me) to make a more elegant program then just threading everything. In what scenario would it make sense to make things run on a thread vs separating the program into different processes? When should I use a thread? Edit: Anything on how (or if) they act differently with single core and multi core would also be helpful.

It's far from perfect, a it's lacking a lot of things from the RFCs, but it's functional and work well with a lot of tested softphones and other SIP hardware and software. My question is: How much of SIP software can truly say that they are entirely SIP compliant? (Of the softphones you can find on the internet...)

  • onDraw() triggered but results don't show

    I have the following routine in a subclass of view: It calculates an array of points that make up a line, then erases the previous lines, then draws the new lines (impact refers to the width in pixels drawn with multiple lines). The line is your basic bell curve, squeezed or stretched by variance and x-factor. Unfortunately, nothing shows on the screen. A previous version with drawPoint() and no array worked, and I've verified the array contents are being loaded correctly, and I can see that my onDraw() is being triggered. Any ideas why it might not be drawn?   • C# HTML editor to create forms

    Hey all, I posted a similar topic for RoR, but didn't know how to edit my tags, so I'm making a new one for C#... I'm looking for a HTML editor which can be integrated in a C# app that has the possibility to create forms. Not forms per se, but I need the possibility to add radiobuttons, input fields, checkboxes and so on. There are many editors that provide Richt text (bold, italic, indentation and so on) but what I need goes a bit further, so help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Test if a number is fibonacci

    I know how to make the list of the Fibonacci numbers, but i don't know how can i test if a given number belongs to the fibonacci list - one way that comes in mind is generate the list of fib. numbers up to that number and see if it belongs to the array, but there's got to be another, simpler and faster method. Any ideas ?

  • Search and display buisness locations on MKMapView

    Hello, I'm trying to find a way to search for a business, such as "grocery stores" and display them on a google map around the users current location. This used to be pretty simple with the old URL style of launching the apple map location but I can't find out how to do it with the MKMapView. I understand that I'll need to use the MKAnnotations classes but my problem is with finding the data. I've tried plugging in the URL below to get the info from google but the size of the data seems way too large. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=grocery&mrt=yp&sll=37.769561,-122.412844&z=14&output=kml Is there an easy way to just set a property that tells the MKMapView to search for a keyword and display all matching business around my current location? Or does anybody know how to get this information from google?

And now I need to decode the string that was encoded before and want to print it. I host it at my IIS 6.0. I enable ssl at IIS and assign Certificate. But when I try open it through browser i get standard error. What's wrong. Please help.   • How can I get to the value of my WPF UserControl DependencyProperty from UI Automation Framework?

    Hi, I'm having trouble getting access to my WPF UserControl DependencyProperty values through the UI Automation Framework. I've used James McCaffreys article in MSDN as a starting point (Automating IO Tests in WPF Applications, MSDN March 2009), but I can only see properties etc in standard controls such as buttons. I'm assuming there's some Automation interface I have to implement on my UserControl, but what and how? I can already see my control fine e.g. in UISpy, but I can't see the dependency properties within it.   • Polynomial operations using operator overloading

    I'm trying to use operator overloading to define the basic operations (+,-,*,/) for my polynomial class but when i run the program it crashes and my computer frozes. Update3 Ok i successfully done the first two operations(+,-). Now at multiplication, after multiplying each term of the first polynomial with each of the second i want to sort the poly list descending and then if there are more than one term with the same power to merge them in only one term, but for some reason it doesn't compile because of the sort function which doesn't work.     Hi, If using subsonic, i know you hav to close a datareader. but what if you get a dataset back, from a stored procedure? What can you close? So if its like this - SubSonic.StoredProcedure sp = SubSonic.StoredProcedure; DataSet ds = DataSet; ds = sp.GetDataSet; What do i close when done? I don't think dataset can be closed, right?
