  • add php script in cron for scheduled task from php?

    is there a way to add a php script (file) in cron for running this script every ten minutes or at a scheduled time? cause i want the user to be able to schedule when to send newsletter to a lot of emails he choses. so i have to create a cron job from php to run a php file on that scheduled time. is this possible if you have a shared web hosting environment (not vps)

  • Crystal Report displaying Group Header multiple times

    Hi I am using Crystal Reports 10 to generate my reports. In one of the reports I see that a group header is getting repeated 2 times in the output document while in the design tab I can that it is present only one time. I am having my query as a "Union All" of 2 data sets. Please advise what could be the cause. Thanks.

    I need to retrieve emails from my Gmail account using Ruby on Rails.   • How to highlight the button untill the next view is changed in iphone?

    Hi, I am new to iphone development. I have created five buttons in the view controller. If i clicked the button it goes to the corresponding view. Now i want to display the button in highlighted state when it is clicked. It should go back to the normal state only when i click the other button.(See the image below). I have set the another image for highigthting buttons when i clicked it, but it shows that highlighted state only one sec. Now i want to display the buttons highlighted till another button is clicked. Same like a Tabbar operations.(I have used buttons instead of tabbar for my requirements).   • How could I import Postgres data dumps into MS SQL?

    I have some data that is from a Postgres database dump (not csv or anything) and I am looking to get it into MS SQL. Is there an easy way to do this or a free tool that doesn't have limits on data import size etc? The Postgres is on a Debian VM and I could export it to csv in there but I am new to Linux and don't know how I would transfer it from the VM to Win 7. Thanks

  • IIS application pool and UAC

    Hi, My system is Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5. I need to run a site which is allowed to do some administrative tasks. I have created an AD user account and added it to all the required groups. The site's application pool runs with custom identity set to this AD account. This works, however some tasks fail with 'Access is denied'. I have found that it was caused by UAC (with UAC disabled everything works ok). So my question is - is it possible to run an application pool in elevated mode without globally disabling UAC? Possibly just disabling UAC just for this one account.

    Hi, i am using Rising Antivirus, free version. It has many advanced functionalities, including a "logon protection" that assures the protection of the password, or pre-logon protection. Unfortunately, that disables remote desktop connection until an user has logged on. (user log on, disconnect, then you can connect) I hate this behaviour, someone knows how to disable this function? (ok, i could create a limited user that autologons and then autodisconnects, but i don't like this approach)

  • MooTools: Fade out element?

    I have an Element object that I'm currently calling .hide() on. Instead, I'd like to fade out the opacity of the entire Element (and its children) to 100% (hidden) as a transition effect over maybe 500 ms or 1000 ms. Can Fx.Tween be used for this? Is this possible--does the MooTools framework have an effect like this in its UI library?

  • How to Get Serial Number or ID of Android Emulator After it Runs?

    If I run several emulators with -no-window option in one machine. The command "adb devices" shows: List of devices attached emulator-5554 device emulator-5556 device emulator-5558 device ... However, according to this output, I can't tell the difference between each emulator device at all. I need to know which emulator runs on what AVD, then I can install APKs or send commands to the emulator. How can I recognize each emulator device or get the serial number of emulator after it runs?

I miss that WSDL creation point in, for example this http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/ws-pojo-springcxf/ tutorial. No wsdl file is generated. But still it should be present in my case to provide system interoperability.

  • Generating a Call Hierarchy for dynamicly invoked method

    Hello, Today's world of dynamic invoke, reflection and runtime injection just doesn't play well with traditional tools such as ctags, doxygen and CDOC. I am searching for a method call hierarchy visualization tool that can display both static and dynamic method invocations. It should be easy to use, light during execution and provide helpful detailed information about the recorded runtime session. Now I guess Callgrind could be considered a valid solution for the family C. What tool / technique could you suggest to create a call graph for both static and dynamic method invocation for JVM based bytecode? The intended end result is a graphical display (preferably interactive) which can show path from main() to each method that was invoked. During research for this post I stumbled upon javashot, it seems that this is the kind of approach I'm aiming at, I would prefer that this would be integrated into a kind of profiler or alike which than can be used from within my IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ, Netbeans and alike).     I am not familiar with PHP at all and had a quick question. I have 2 variables @pricePerUnit and @invoicedUnits. Here's the code that is setting these to values: $InvoicedUnits = ((string) $InvoiceLineItem->InvoicedUnits); $pricePerUnit = ((string) $InvoiceLineItem->PricePerUnit); If I output this, I get the correct values. Lets say 5000 invoiced units and 1.00 for price. Now, I need to show the total amount spent. When I multiply these two together it doesn't work (as expected, these are strings). But I have no clue how to parse/cast/convert variables in PHP. What should I do?

  • Postback problem when using URL Rewrite and 404.aspx

    I'm using URL rewrite on my site to get URLs like: http://mysite.com/users/john instead of http://mysite.com/index.aspx?user=john To achive this extensionless rewrite with IIS6 and no access to the hosting-server I use the "404-approach". When a request that the server can't find, the mapped 404-page is executed, since this is a aspx-page the rewrite can be performed (I can setup the 404-mapping using the controlpanel on the hosting-service).
