  • Question about a dialog form and submit errors

    Hi, I have the link below that executes the action message/new which shows a form inside a jqueryui modal dialog. <div id="myDialog"> </div> echo jq_link_to_remote('Enviar mensaje', array( 'url' => 'mensaje/new?receptor='.$miembro->getId().'&tipo=0&estado=0', 'update' => 'myDialog', 'complete' => "jQuery('#myDialog').dialog({ width:375, height:220, top:123, resizable:false, modal:true, autoOpen: false }); jQuery('#myDialog').dialog('open')" )); The point: if there are submit errors the form is not showed inside the dialog form but in a empty page (mensaje/create)..   • drupal: [title] token... not filtered !?!

    hi, I'm using path auto module to automatically stores images in the projects subfolder. I'm using the [title] token and I had a unpleasent surprise: the title "abc / dce", creates 2 folders. I was not expecting this because in the pattern descrition, [title] is clearly distinguished by [title-raw]. [title] Node title [title-raw] Unfiltered node title. WARNING - raw user input. So, how can I fix this issue, I would like to use the title I have in the url "abc-dce" thanks

  • Getting Hprof dump for other processes from application code

    Hi, In my application , i have an option to capture the hprof dump. I used android.os.Debug.dumpHprofData (String fileName) Initially i though the hprof data generated by the method above is for the entire device , which is not so . The hprof data generated is only for my process. Now i am trying to generate hprof data for other process as well. I need to get the Hprof dump for all the running processes from application code. from adb shell i tried "kill -10 " , This command will generate the hprof file for the corresponding process in the data/misc folder. Now the problem is this command is working perfectly from the adb shell prompt , but i am not able to embed the command to mycode. My code is like Runtime.getRuntime().exec("chmod 777 /data/misc") Runtime.getRunTime().exec("kill -10 ") No exceptions are thrown , but somehow it is not working. The same code above is capturing Hprof dump for my process, when i give my process ID. I tried with "android.os.Process.sendSignal (int pid, android.os.Process.SIGNAL_USR1) ;" also.Getting the same problem.It is capturing Hprof dump for my process. For other processes it is not working. Do we need to have any special permission to kill other process from our process ? Or is it a built issue ? can you please suggest some possible way to get Hprof dump for other processes from application code? Thanks

  • Use Rails 3's ActiveSupport core extensions outside rails

    Hi guys. I'm having a problem using ActiveSupport's core extensions on a gem I am developing. I had it working with AS 2.3.8, but as soon as I wanted to port it to 3b4, the extensions stopped working and my test results are filled with lines such as: undefined method `blank?' for "something":String I've included it via gem "activesupport" followed by require "active_support" Is there anything else I need to call to include those extensions?   • using a test account for in app purchases??

    i created in app purchases in my application.But still my test account doesn’t work fine. When i test my application using test account the sandbox environment asks me to buy the product and after buying it asks me to buy the product again straightaway. Is it some problem while using test accounts or is there a problem in my coding?? this is my first application and figuring out in app purchases for your application can be really hard at times. i have 4 products and this happens only with 1 or 2 products and rest work fine. So i am sure the in app purchases is fine but cant figure out what could be wrong??

  • Easy management of multiple connections

    Hi, on a Windows 7 machine I need to switch back and forth two connections: the LAN connection (that works behind a proxy) and a wireless connection via a USB modem. This requires every time to activate / deactivate two connections in the manager and switch on / off the LAN settings. I don't think there is some way to keep two connections alive and specify which one to use based on the program, but my question is: is there a simple little utility that makes switching the connection one-click easy and fast?   • Good support to multiple desktops AND multiple monitors in Linux (Ubuntu)?

    I'm starting to have A LOT of opened windows in my machine. Sometimes within a project, I have e-mail/task management/personal e-mail/twitter, and a lot of different opened applications/terminal in my Linux environment. Nowadays I have 4 worspaces: Corporate management (e-mail) and corporate messenger; Work (Documents, Requisites) Dev (Development, All gVim windows, terminal and Firefox for development) Personal (Personal stuff: personal e-mail, delicious, twitter and so on) Sometimes it would be interesting to have different workspaces to projects instead of this configuration I have nowadays that are classes of work (bad name, I know, but I think you got the idea). I'm starting to think about using two monitors: one with Corporate Management, Work and Personal. The second monitor is only the development state: each workspace here is about a project being worked on instead of groups of works like before. A workspace may be implementing different classes for example. My question is: I just want to change to a second monitor using the mouse. I want to still be able to change workspaces in the same monitor using keyboard shortcuts. The keyboard shortcuts wouldn't change monitors, just worskpaces on the same monitor. Does Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx) support this envisioned setup? If so, how?

  • Does RIA Services requires an extra install on the server?

    If I want to deploy an ASP.NET application that hosts RIA Services endpoints for a Silverlight application, do I have to install anything extra on the web server? Or is it just some extra DLLs that can be deployed to my applications Bin folder? I know that when you are doing RIA Services development there are additional toolkits and what-not to install, but I'm not sure if those are needed on the server.

You might have expected an instance of ActiveRecord::Base. The error occurred while evaluating nil.new_record? However, if I change the order in which I a) build the paintingtitles and painting descriptions in the paintings_controller new method and b) show the paintingtitles and painting descriptions in the form partial then I get the nil on the paintingtitles.new_record? call. I always get the nil for the objects I build in second place. The ones I build first aren't nil in my view. Is it possible that I cannot build objects for 2 different associations at the same time?   • Drupal, FUpload images module introduce bugs

    hi, I'm using FUpload module to upload multiple images together from my CCK Image field. It perfectly works, however if I use it when I'm creating a new node, the other CCK Image fields stop to work and the images (from these fields) are not stored at all. The error I get is "path doesn't exist"... It sounds like fUpload force the other CCK fields to store the content before the node is saved and the folders are created. (I'm using path auto, to create folders accordingly to node title). Could you give me some tips ? Thanks

  • Fallback to another exiting MIME type when the required is missing in Rails

    I want to extend the exiting supported HTML type of my site by support for iPhone. For this I registered a new MIME type. I created a layout for iphone and also converted some of the html views to iphone version. However, I did not convert all of the html.erb-s. I do not see the reason to convert all views, some of them should not change, some partials simply just remain the same. I guess there should be a solution for this case. I tried to search for ways how to fallback to an existing format, but did not find any answer. Does a way to define fallback for MIME types in Rails exist? How does it work? If it doesn't exist and thus I wanted to solve the issue not the right way, what could simply solve the task of extending an existing site by another format? Thanks for your suggestions.
