    I'm testing MFCMapi and the Exchange CDO 1.2.1 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 PC and I continually get a Err: 0x8004010F=MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND Am I correct in assuming that the Exchange CDO pack does not work properly on 2008 R2?

  • Is it possible to create a full "encrypted worried about privacy" VPS, but still being externally us

    I've been reading a lot of things about privacy, "being in control of your data" and everything, and now a project called diaspora* is trying to be an OSS Facebook alternative. Fact is: you still have to use a server. Even if you use a VPS somewhere, they still have access do your data, so diaspora* isn't that protective shell people are looking for absolute power over your data unless you create a server on your basement. My question is: is it possible to create a really encrypted usable server using a VPS? From database to source files? If not, what it can be "obfuscated" or encrypted? (And just a mention, not really my question, do you think is diaspora* really possible to be made?) (I know if you really want privacy you shouldn't be even using these services and being social, but I'm asking if it's possible to at least avoid companies using your data)

  • ping alternative to measure routing distance (on Windows)

    Hello, in order to measure aprroximately the rouitng distance (to see if a server is close to my country or too far away) I usually use ping command. I'm in Italy, when I ping Italian servers I get 36ms when I ping US EAST servers I get an average of 120ms when I ping US WEST servers I get an average of 200ms etc. Unfortunately some web hosters turn off the ping reply on their servers, so my question is how do I detect the routing distance, is there another easy to use command in Windows to accomplish the same task?   • Multiple websites each with an SSL certificate of its own

    Hi, We run cent os, plesk with apache and php, mysql. There are around 25 sites and each of them need an SSL certificate now. The host cannot have more than 16 IPs on the same server. Is it possible to have all these sites use just one IP address and have SSL certificate setup for each site? If yes, please let me know how I can set this up. Thanks

  • Have an iPad's viewable area visible on your computer monitor for remote web-meeting training?

    I want to demo the usage of my iPad on my computer screen so that I can transmit it to other people during a training session using a web conference tool (like dimdim.com, gotomeeting.com, fuzemeeting.com, etc...) Is there a way to stream an iPad's display to a computer so it would be visible in such a screen casting software? My current ad-hoc solution for this would be to use a webcam to livecast me using a physical (real life) iPad and broadcast that to other users for training. This is undesirable due to the difficulty in really seeing the iPad well. So I'm hoping someone has a way to do: 1) Video output the iPad's display to my computer screen. 2) Emulate an iPad with a installed app (not having the source code) on the screen.

  • What kind of eye wear can I use to protect my eyes from being irritated from staring at a screen all

    Many of us stare at computer screens all day. Lately, my eyes have been irritated from prolonged staring at my computer screens. Does anyone use or know of any eye wear technology that helps with this? About five years back, I bought a pair of non-prescription eye glasses that had a no-glare layer put on them by an optometrist. It slightly helped, so I'm considering getting another pair. Is this the best option I have at this point? Thanks so much in advance for your wisdom!

  • Where can I find the source code for log4j's ZeroConfSocketHubAppender?

    I'm looking for a way to make log4net support zeroconf to publish logs to Apache Chainsaw (see here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2843238/does-log4net-support-zeroconf). Apparently log4j can already do this using a ZeroConfSocketHubAppender. Where might I be able to view the source for the java ZeroConfSocketHubAppender? I've looked both in the Apache Chainsaw and in the Log4j repositories but was unsuccessful.

  • C++ Map Question

    Hi. I'm working on my C++ assignment about soccer and I encountered a problem with map. My problem that I encountered is that when I stored 2 or more "midfielders" as the key, even the cout data shows different, but when I do a multiplication on the 2nd -second value, it "adds up" the first -second value and multiply with it. E.g. John midfielder 1 Steven midfielder 3 I have a program that already reads in the playerPosition. So the map goes like this: John 1 (Key, Value) Steven 3 (Key, Value) if(playerName == a-first && playerPosition == "midfielder") { cout << a-second*2000 << endl; //number of goals * $2000 } So by right, the program should output: 2000 6000 But instead, I'm getting 2000 8000 So, I'm assuming it adds the 1 to 3 (resulting in 4) and multiplying with 2000, which is totally wrong... I tried cout a-first and a-second in the program and I get: John 1 Steven 3 But after the multiplication, it's totally different. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Managed bean property value not set to null

    Hi! I'm new to JSF, so this question might be strange. I have an inputText component's value bound to managed bean's property of type Float. I need to set property to null when inputText field is empty, not to 0 value. It's not done by default, so I added converter with the following method implemented: public Object getAsObject(FacesContext arg0, UIComponent arg1, String arg2) throws ConverterException { if (StringUtils.isEmpty(arg2)) { return null; } float result = Float.parseFloat(arg2); if (result == 0) { return null; } return result; } I registered converter, and assigned it to inputText component. I logged arg2 argument, and also logged return value from getAsObject method. By my log I can see that it returns null value. But, I also log setter property on backing bean and argument is 0 value, not null as expected. To be more precise, it is setter property is called twice, once with null argument, second time with 0 value argument. It still sets backing bean value to 0. How can I set value to null? For example: - Let's say aaa is an element of outer_list linked list and let's point it with outer_list *p - This aaa can also be in an inner_list linked list too. (it can be in p-head or another innerlist.) Now, the tricky part again. I tried to apply the same rules with outer_list deletion but whenever i delete the head element of inner_list it gives an error. Where is the wrong thing in print_node or delnode2?

    Hi, I having some trouble when implementing the CollectionViewSource in silverlight. I'm new in this topic, so basically I've been following what I find searching through the web. Here's what I've been trying to do so far.
