    I have a class template <typename T> class C { static const int K=1; static ostream& print(ostream& os, const T& t) { return os << t;} }; I would like to specialize C for int. //specialization for int template <> C<int>{ static const int K=2; } I want the default print method that works for int to remain and just change the constant. For some specializations, I want to keep K=1 and change the print method because there is no << operator. How do I do this?

  • Empty data was able to be stored to the Database in CakePHP even if "Not Null" had been specified.

    Hi all, I was doing some self learning on CakePHP 1.26 with Mysql 5. I got a simple table with only one field and had applied "Not Null" to this field. This field in the table was corresponding to a Input text box in a HTML form. I tried not to enter anything into the Input text field, and then I saw that empty data was able to be stored into the Table even if "Not Null" had been applied to this field. I am confused of this result. Could you help me please?

  • Capture each WPF MediaElement frame

    Is there a way to capture each WPF MediaElement frame? Like an event that fires at each rendered frame and allows me to access it. If MediaElement does not provide such functionality, how could it be implemented or what other control could I use? On a side note, is there such a control or method that would allow for off-screen fast rendering of media clips with frame capture? (so I could process frames as fast as possible)

    Hi, I have got an app I'm going to write in ASP.NET MVC and I want to create a DatabaseFactory object something like this:- public class DatabaseFactory { private string dbConn get { return <gets from config file>; } public IDatabaseTableObject GetDatabaseTable() { IDatabaseTableObject databaseTableObject = new SQLDatabaseObject(dbConn); return databaseTableObject; } } and this works fine, but I obviously have to instantiate the DatabaseFactory in every controller that needs it. If I made this static, so I could, in theory just call DatabaseFactory.GetDatabaseTable() it would cause a memory leak, wouldn't it?

  • Silently import a Certificate into a specific Certificate Store.

    Hi. I am attempting to import a Certificate into the Current User - Personal store using the command line: "importpfx -f [certificate name.p12] -p [password] -t USER -s Personal". It works, but for reasons I don't understand there are now two Personal stores under the Current User, and the imported certificate is in the new Personal store. When I try to connect to the website of [a well-known money transfer service], it fails. However, if I manually import the certificate using MMC into the original Personal store, it works. My question is: How can I force IMPORTPFX to import the certificate into the original Personal store, and how can I delete the new Personal store? Context: I need to do a silent import of certificates on 3000+ remote point-of-sale Windows XP devices, so it needs to be a silent install via PSEXEC (SysInternals). Thank you. Pieter.

    Hi, I've got a Flex 3 project. Flex makes an ExternalCall to some Javascript. The Javascript is then turned into XML. But, my xml isn't parsing in IE. It works in all other browsers. I think that the problem is that I haven't set the XML's content-type and IE doesn't like that. So my code looks like: myReturn = '<myXMLReturn>' + myReturn + '</myXMLReturn>'; myReturn = '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>' + myReturn; xmlReturn = new XML(myReturn); How would I set: header('Content-type: application/xml'); in Actionscript?     Hey guys, I just installed clam av http://sourceforge.net/projects/php-clamav/ for scanning file uploads on my linux VPN running php. The problem is that for some reason just initiating the extension in the php ini file slows down my entire network. Regular requests such as changing pages that should take less than 1 second take 5.     I am working with a guild hosting site that provides an XML/XSL transformation widget where all I need to do is enter the URL for the XML and XSL and it does the rest. I have written an XSL transform to display a World of Warcraft armory page: Here is an example XML page (view source to see it) of the group I'm trying to help now. So, the user is entering their own XML page url (which has an eu subdomain in this case, but it is not within the XML itself). So when I make links to the character url, I need to add the entire url <a target="_blank" href="http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?{@url}"> <xsl:value-of select="@name"/> </a> But I can't just set the domain to eu since there are multiple regions. Here are the possibilities: us = www, europe = eu, korea = kr, china = cn and taiwan = tw. Here is a snippet of the XML which shows the url parameters: <character achPoints="4275" classId="3" genderId="0" level="80" name="Virtex" raceId="4" rank="2" url="r=Drek%27Thar&amp;cn=Virtex"/> I guess I could just have the user add a small bit of HTML with their region in another part of their page, something like <div id="region">eu</div>, but I'm trying to make this work without any extra coding on their part.     What is a decent IDE for developing JavaScript, I'll be writing both client side stuff and writing for Rhino. Ideally It needs to run on Mac OSX, although something that runs on Windows too would be nice. ADDITIONAL: Having had a play with both js2 and Aptana, I think I'll be continuing to use Aptana. Mainly because I find emacs a bit hard to get my head round, although I did think that the error hi-lighting in js2 was better than that in Aptana. I'm still looking for a way to visually debug my js code that is running atop Rhino...

    Hi, we're developing a software to control a scientific measuring device. it provides a COM-Interface defines serveral functions to set measurement parameters and fires an event when it measured data. in order to test our software, i'm implementing a simulation of that device. the com-object runs a loop which periodically fires the event. another loop in the client app should now setup up the com-simulator using the given functions. i created a class for measuring parameters which will be instanciated when setting up a new measurement. // COM-Object public class MeasurementParams { public double Param1; public double Param2; } public class COM_Sim : ICOMDevice { public MeasurementParams newMeasurement; IClient client; public int NewMeasurement() { newMeasurment = new MeasurementParam(); } public int SetParam1(double val) { // why is newMeasurement null when method is called from client loop newMeasurement.Param1 = val; } void loop() { while(true) { // fire event client.HandleEvent; } } } public class Client : IClient { ICOMDevice server; public int HandleEvent() { // handle this event server.NewMeasurement(); server.SetParam1(0.0); } void loop() { while(true) { // do some stuff... server.NewMeasurement(); server.SetParam1(0.0); } } } both of the loops run in independent threads. when server.NewMeasurement() is called, the object on the server is set to a new instance. but in the next function, the object is null again. do the same when handling the server-event, it works perfectly, because the method runs in the servers thread. how to make it work from client-thread as well. as the client is meant to be working with the real device, i cannot modify the interfaces given by the manufactor. also i need to setup measurements independent from the event-handler, which will be fired not regulary. i assume this problem related to multithreaded-COM behavior but i found nothing on this topic.
