  • Cannot make sense out a Delphi windows file name

    I am trying to copy from a file X to this name C:\RIP2\France Clidat\Les Plus Belles Oeuvres - France Clidat\(01)3_ Un Sospiro.flac I have checked that there is no bad characters, If I force directorires it creates C:\RIP2\France Clidat\Les Plus Belles Oeuvres - France Clidat but it refuses to write the file and I do not understand why a simple test procedure foo(str: string); var f:File; begin Assign(f,str); Rewrite(f); CloseFile(f); end; will crash saying it is not a valid file name but it is! If I remove ALL blank spaces it works I am lost please Help

  • Rails routes creating additional info in URL

    Hi Everyone, Say if I have a model called 'deliver' and I am using the default URL route of: # Install the default routes as the lowest priority. map.connect ':controller/:action/:id' map.connect ':controller/:action/:id.:format' So the deliver URL would be: http://localhost:3000/deliver/123 What I am trying to work out, is how to use another field from the database alongside or instead of the ID. For example. If I have a field in the create view called 'deliveraddress', how do I put that into the routes? So I can have something link this: http://localhost:3000/deliver/deliveraddress Thanks, Danny

    I've got an interresting problem: Given an IEnumerable<string>, is it possible to yield a sequence of IEnumerable<string> that groups identical adjacent strings in one pass? Let me explain. Considering the following IEnumerable<string> (pseudo representation): {"a","b","b","b","c","c","d"} How to get an IEnumerable<IEnumerable<string>> that would yield something of the form: { // IEnumerable<IEnumerable<string>> {"a"}, // IEnumerable<string> {"a","b","b"}, // IEnumerable<string> {"c","c"}, // IEnumerable<string> {"d"} // IEnumerable<string> } The method prototype would be: public IEnumerable<IEnumerable<string>> Group(IEnumerable<string> items) { // todo } Important notes : Only one iteration over the original sequence No intermediary collections allocations (we can assume millions of strings in the original sequence, and millions consecutives identicals strings in each group) Keeping enumerators and defered execution behavior Is it possible, and how would you write it?

  • asp.net mvc 2 - return JavaScript with View

    Hi, using ASP.NET MVC 2 I have a navigation menu inside my Master Page. In the navigation menu, I am trying add a class to the that the current page relates to (i.e., home page will add class="active" to the Home button). I'm trying to consider scalability and the fact that I don't want to change individual pages if the navigation changes later. The only way I can think of doing this is: Add JavaScript to each individual View that will add the class when the DOM is ready Return JavaScript when return View() occurs on point (2), I am unsure how to do. Thusfar I have been doing the following in my controller: public ActionResult Index() { ViewData["messege"] = JavaScript("<script type='text/javascript' language='javascript'> $(document).ready(function () { console.log('hi hi hi'); }); </script>"); return View(); } but in my view, when I call: <%: ViewData["messege"] %> I get: System.Web.Mvc.JavaScriptResult as the result Would you guys have any ideas on How to solve the navigation menu probelem, other than the solutions I've listed return JavaScript along with your view from the Controller Thanks, in advanced!

  • how to put special character for url param?

    following url will be fine: http://localhost/mysite/mypage?param=123 if I want to put some special characters in param like ?, /, \, then the url looks like http://localhost/mysite/mypage?param=a=?&b=/ or http://localhost/mysite/mypage?param=http://www.mysite.com/page2?a=\&b=... it won't work. How to resolve this issue?

  • jQuery is only returning first item

    For some strange reason, whenever I have a selector and expect to get multiple items, jQuery is only returning the first item, instead of the entire collection. This is the HTML I have: <a id="reply-424880" class="reply" href="#" rel="nofollow">Reply</a> <a id="reply-424885" class="reply" href="#" rel="nofollow">Reply</a> And the selector: $('.reply').unbind('click').click(function(event) { ... } I have tried debugging using FireBug, and still get the same results. Using the work around I can get it to work: $('a').each(function (index, element) { if ($(element).attr('class') == 'reply') { $(this).unbind('click').click(function(event) { ... }); } }); I would like to use the built-in functionality instead of my work around. Any idea why only the first element would be returned?

  • Downloading multimedia content in java from php pages

My question is: how to download this content in java knowing the name of the original rep file in order to save it with a defined prefix, like path/_.rep //I was trying to run wget from java but I don't see how to get the original file's name.

  • Inter-rater agreement (Fleiss' Kappa, Krippendorff's Alpha etc) Java API?

    I am working on building a Question Classification/Answering corpus as a part of my masters thesis. I'm looking at evaluating my expected answer type taxonomy with respect to inter-rater agreement/reliability, and I was wondering: Does anybody know of any decent (preferably free) Java API(s) that can do this? I'm reasonably certain all I need is Fleiss' Kappa and Krippendorff's Alpha at this point. Weka provides a kappa statistic in it's evaluation package, but I think it can only evaluate a classifier and I'm not at that stage yet (because I'm still building the data set and classes). Thanks.

  • wpf treeview ObjectDataProvider update - how?

    I've been having trouble updating the data bindings which relates to a treeview. The dataset is mapped onto the ObjectDataProvider, passed through two data templates. Now I've tried updating the ObjectDataProvider with two calls, hoping that they would trigger the CreateTheDataSet() method, and rebuild the tree.   • Is the port number the same when connecting to git via the git+ssh protocol?

    Hi all. I was wondering when connecting to a git repository, does the git+ssh protocol use the same port number as just using the git protocol. For example: git://example.com/git/helloworld git+ssh://[email protected]/git/helloworld I am trying to push to a remote repository that has port forwarding setup on only the git protocol port number (9418) using EGit.   • Bash Completion Problem with sudo on Ubuntu VPS

    I have a VPS from Linode. I deployed Ubuntu 10.04 server. I added a user and put it sudoers file. when I write as a user apti <TAB> it comletes with tab to aptitude <TAB> but when I continue to aptitude upd <TAB> it didnt complete but on my desktop it works great. Even worse if I try same command with sudo sudo apti <TAB> does not work I checked .basrc and /etc/bash.basrc completion is commented out so what is wrong. By the way when I root it works

  • SQL Server Express backup/restore error: The Media Family on Device is Incorrectly Formed.

    Basically, I'm having this issue: http://www.sqlcoffee.com/Troubleshooting047.htm What I'm doing is running a script I found online (http://pastebin.com/3n0ZfybL) to do a full backup, then rar'ing up the file and moving it to my computer. The CRC of the backup file inside the rar is correct on both computers, so there is no problem with data being corrupted when I transfer it. But then I go and try to restore the database on my dev computer here and I get the errors "sql server cannot process this media family" ... "msg 3013". Why is this happening? I'd test out the backup on the server I'm getting it from, but it's a production server.   • Can't rename/move files from OSX that were copied from NTFS

    Hello- I recently had data recovered and it was sent back to me on what I think is an NTFS drive. I copied all the files over to a file share I have on a Linux box, that's ext4. Now I have that share mounted on my OSX machine, and I can't move or rename most of the files. However, in a couple cases I was able to rename a folder after the third try. Another time I was able to rename a folder once, but not again. All the permissions are showing up the same on the command-line -- I can't see any differences between the permissions on any of the files/folders. Any clues??? Thanks.

  • Embedding BIP just got easier!

    To make up for yesterday's documentation faux pas, when I referenced Kan's blog as a source for the debug feature over Leslie's fine official documentation that had come out some time before Kan's blog. Apologies again Leslie! I noticed another new feature that I was unaware of in the New Features guide for 10.1.3.4.1. The ability to remove the BI Publisher header from the user interface so you can get this: instead of this. Useful? If you wanted to host BIP inside another application such as a portal or custom app, you can make the BIP UI app look much more integrated. By default you still get our 'blue' look and feel' but I have documented else where how you can change that. For instance, now you can have BIP hosted inside a BIEE instance and provide access to all the reports a user might wish to run with very little effort rather than picking and choosing what to bubble up to the dashboard. How do you do it? Get on over to the New Features guide and find out, there are some other goodies there too. Note to self, RTFM!
