  • python `IN` module problem (FreeBSD)

    I'm trying to work with sockets and I have such problem In code example: setsockopt(socket.SOL_SOCKET,IN.SO_BINDTODEVICE,self.listen_address+'\0') I have error AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'SO_BINDTODEVICE' On Linux machine this attribute is OK but on FreeBSD trere are no any SO_* attributes in module IN. What port should I install to resolve this problem on FreeBDS machine? Python versions on Linux tested: 2.5.4 and 2.6.4; on FreeBSD: 2.5.5 I can't find anything about this module in my book, and googling keyword IN looks like seamless ...

  • T-SQL Unique constraint locked the SQL server

    HI ! This is my table: CREATE TABLE [ORG].[MyTable]( .. [my_column2] UNIQUEIDENTIFIER NOT NULL CONSTRAINT FK_C1 REFERENCES ORG.MyTable2 (my_column2), [my_column3] INT NOT NULL CONSTRAINT FK_C2 REFERENCES ORG.MyTable3 (my_column3) .. ) I've written this constraint to assure that combination my_column2 and my_column3 is always unique. ALTER TABLE [ORG].[MyTable] ADD CONSTRAINT UQ_MyConstraint UNIQUE NONCLUSTERED ( my_column2, my_column3 ) But then suddenly.. The DB stopped responding.. there is a lock or something.. Do you have any idea why? What is bad with the constraint?

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 DFS Root Namespace Required?

    I would prefer to set up our DFS such as: \domain.local\users \domain.local\customers \domain.local\support etc. Is this a problem? Do I need to instead set all of the above folders as targets under a root such as: \domain.local\files\users \domain.local\files\customers \domain.local\files\support Other than the path being shorter in the top example, which is what I would prefer, is there a difference in functionality in Windows DFS between the two examples shown?     In Windows 7, when you hover over an application in your task bar, a preview is generated showing the contents of the application window. Another option just displays the names of the windows. Somehow, I've turned off the preview and it only displays the window names. How do I change it back?

    I have Resharper 4.5 and have found it invaluable so far but I have a concern; It seems to want to make every variable declaration implicit(var). As a relativly new developer how much should I trust ReSharper when it comes to this? Take the below code snippet from a method that Paints Tab Headers. TabPage currentTab = tabCaseNotes.TabPages[e.Index]; Rectangle itemRect = tabCaseNotes.GetTabRect(e.Index); SolidBrush fillBrush = new SolidBrush(Color.Linen); SolidBrush textBrush = new SolidBrush(Color.Black); StringFormat sf = new StringFormat { Alignment = StringAlignment.Center, LineAlignment = StringAlignment.Center }; Resharper wants me to change all 5 of those to var.     This is my code which works public decimal? Get() { var res = ... return res.Count() > 0 ? res.First() : (decimal?) null; } and this one doesn't work public decimal? Get() { var res = ... return res.Count() > 0 ? res.First() : null; } giving the compiler error: Error 1 Type of conditional expression cannot be determined because there is no implicit conversion between 'decimal' and '<null>' I wonder why? any ideas?

    Rather than displaying a PNG in the browser window, I'd like the action result to trigger the file download dialogue box (you know the open, save as, etc). I can get this to work with the code below using an unknown content type, but the user then has to type in .png at the end of the file name. But for multiple users, log file cannot be read easily.   • Drupal 6 fails to build menu router and links

    When I enable a new menu in Drupal (for example, mymodule), Drupal should be able to get the menu items from mymodule_menu (hook_menu), process the items and insert the menu items to menu_router and menu_links page. However, my Drupal fails to do so. Each time I enable a module (written by me or modules contributed by others, or core modules), Drupal does not seem to get the new information. The menu items defined in the newly enabled module are not processed and inserted to Drupal's menu system. That means the newly enabled module has no chance to work-- because it's inaccessible. I did fix this by manually insert the menu item information for the new module into the menu_router and menu_links table and the new menu started working. But this is a nightmare if I have to do this each time I enable a module. Any one has ever had the same problem? How to fix this? Thank you in advance.

    Hello. I have a folder on a server which is shared with guest access enabled. I want to be able to copy a file from that folder to a local machine with Applescript. So far I have: property source : "server:sharedfolder:file.ext" property destination : "Macintosh HD:Users:User:Documents:Folder" tell application "Finder" copy file "source" to folder "destination" end tell Which I think should work. But I get the error :Can't set folder source to destination number 10006. Any ideas? Thanks.

I setup a new switch with the 2 NICs and am able to connect to the NFS share over it, but could use some guidance on getting jumbo frames and link aggregation/bonding/teaming working.

  • Changing administrator for hosted Exchange account

    We are using a hosted MS Exchange provider, and they claim that our account can only have one administrator. They also claim that they cannot change which login is granted administrator privileges. This means that the user account that was initially created five years ago is the only account that can change our billing information, among other things. The employee associated with the current admin account is no longer with the company, so we'd like to move the admin privileges to a new "sysadmin" account, and delete this employee's account. Shouldn't this be really easy to do? Is my hosted exchange provider telling the truth?
