  • NHibernate's ISQLQuery returns instances that are of an unexpected type.

    - by Frederik Gheysels
Hi all, I'm using NHibernate 2.1.2.400, and I'm having an issue with a an ISQLQuery query. The reason why I use an ISQLQuery here, is that this query uses a table for which I have no entity mapped in NHibernate. The query looks like this: ISQLQuery query = session.CreateSQLQuery ( "select p.*, price.* " + "from prestation p left outer join prestationprice price on p.PrestationId = price.PrestationId " + "where p.Id IN ( select id from prestationregistry where ..."); 'Prestationregistry' is the table that is not known by NHibernate (unmapped, so therefore the native SQL Query). my code continues like this: query.AddEntity ("p", typeof(Prestation)); query.AddJoin ("price", typeof(PrestationPrice)); query.SetResultTransformer (Transformers.DistinctRootEntity); var result = query.List(); So far so good. I expect that I'm given a list of 'Prestation' instances as a result of this query, since I declared 'Prestation' as being the root-object that has to be returned by the AddEntity method. I also expect that the PrestationPrices for each Prestation are eagerly loaded by this query (hence the AddJoin method). To my surprise, the List() method returns a collection of PrestationPrice instances instead of Prestation instances. How come ? Am I doing something wrong ? And if so, could you be so kind to tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Edit: Additional Info: When I debug, and put a watch on the 'query' instance, I can see that the queryReturns member of the query contains 2 items: - one NativeSqlQueryRootReturn instance who'se ReturnEntityName is 'Prestation' - one NativeSqlQueryJoinReturn When I do not specify the 'DistinctRootEntity' result transformer, the query returns instances of 'Prestation' instead of PrestationPrice. However, it contains multiple copies of the same instance.

  • how to handle a array of objects in a session

    - by Robert
Hello, In the project I'm working on I have got a list List<Item> with objects that Is saved in a session. Session.Add("SessionName", List); In the Controller I build a viewModel with the data from this session var arrayList = (List<Item>)Session["SessionName"]; var arrayListItems= new List<CartItem>(); foreach (var item in arrayList) { var listItem = new Item { Amount = item.Amount, Variant= item.variant, Id = item.Id }; arrayListItems.Add(listItem); } var viewModel = new DetailViewModel { itemList = arrayListItems } and in my View I loop trough the list of Items and make a form for all of them to be able to remove the item. <table> <%foreach (var Item in Model.itemList) { %> <% using (Html.BeginForm()) { %> <tr> <td><%=Html.Hidden(Settings.Prefix + ".VariantId", Item .Variant.Id)%> <td> <%=Html.TextBox(Settings.Prefix + ".Amount", Item.Amount)%></td> <td> <%=Html.Encode(Item.Amount)%> </td> <td> <input type="submit" value="Remove" /> </td> </tr> <% } %> <% } %> </table> When the post from the submit button is handeld the item is removed from the array and post back exactly the same viewModel (with 1 item less in the itemList). return View("view.ascx", viewModel); When the post is handled and the view has reloaded the value's of the html.Hidden and Html.Textbox are the value's of the removed item. The value of the html.Encode is the correct value. When i reload the page the correct values are in the fields. Both times i build the viewModel the exact same way. I cant find the cause or solution of this error. I would be very happy with any help to solve this problem Thanx in advance for any tips or help

It’s happening in a Java Swing application I maintain. It happens infrequently and the application is quite complex. I know it’s a bit of a long shot just showing this stack trace, but I thought I’d try.

  • I run Webmin and I want it to be accessed with two URLs, both using proxypass in apache

    - by user36644
This is what I am trying to do: NameVirtualHost * <VirtualHost *> ServerName testsite.org ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /var/www/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *> ServerName panel.testsite.org ProxyPass / http://panel.testsite.org:10000/ ProxyPassReverse / http://panel.testsite.org:10000/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 12.34.56.78> ServerName newsite.com ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /var/newsite/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost 12.34.56.78> ServerName panel.newsite.com ProxyPass / http://panel.newsite.com:10000/ ProxyPassReverse / http://panel.newsite.com:10000/ </VirtualHost> The problem is that it won't accept the 2nd vhost with the IP 12.34.56.78 because it says one already exists. panel.newsite.com and newsite.com have the same IP...so I am not sure how I can make it so that only the URL "panel.newsite.com" will get proxypassed to port 10000 but no other URL on newsite.com

  • Task Manager: VM Size smaller than Mem usage?

    - by shoosh
The windows XP tasks manager can show two different columns regarding the memory usage of the processes. One is called Mem Usage and the other is VM Size (not on by default, you need to activate it) From what I've gathered, VM size is the size of the entire memory space occupied by the process and Mem Usage is the amount of memory currently committed and used. This assumption is verified by most processes when the VM Size is only slightly larger than Mem Usage for instance my Outlook currently has 79,724 K in VM Size and 56,600 K in Mem Usage But it fails for other processes such as Firefox which currently has 171,900 K for Mem Usage and only 156,440 K in VM Size. How can a process use more memory than the amount of virtual memory allocated to it? So Maybe my interpretation of these columns is wrong. What do they actually mean?

  • When to address managed heap fragmentation

    - by emddudley
I was reading a blog entry by Josh Smith where he used a cache mechanism in order to "reduce managed heap fragmentation". His caching reduces the number of short-lived objects being created at the cost of slightly slower execution speed. How much of a problem is managed heap fragmentation in a managed language like C#? How can you diagnose if it's an issue? In what situations would you typically need to address it?

  • is it possible to extract all PDFs from a site

    - by deming
given a URL like www.mysampleurl.com is it possible to crawl through the site and extract links for all PDFs that might exist? I've gotten the impression that Python is good for this kind of stuff. but is this feasible to do? how would one go about implementing something like this? also, assume that the site does not let you visit something like www.mysampleurl.com/files/

  • Does Internet Explorer 7 have a CSS parsing issue with the "background-image" property?

    - by user312003
Having CSS layout issues with Internet Explorer 7 (big surprise). Upon using the Developer Tools to inspect the CSS, I discovered that some properties defined in the stylesheet are not appearing in the parsed CSS structure... THEN I saw THIS being shown as the parsed value for the background-image property: background-image : url(/trunk/httpdocs/images/layout/HCBL_Homepage_01.jpg); WIDTH: 1200px; pretty much obliterating the width that was defined property. The actual code in the CSS file for this element: div#header { width: 1200px; height: 100px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; background-image: url('/trunk/httpdocs/images/layout/HCBL_Homepage_01.jpg'); background-repeat: no-repeat; } If anyone could offer any insight, or provide a link describing this problem (and maybe a workaround...) I would be very appreciative. Also, I am only interested in this from a parsing of the stylesheet and CSS syntax perspective. I am not concerned with rendering and display issues at the moment; I simply want to get IE 7 (and I have a feeling IE 6 will have similar issues) to recognize and parse ALL of the CSS properties that have been defined in the stylesheet. Thanks in advance guys!

  • Save batch file path to local harddisk

    - by Brian
Hi, I have a batch file that is Run when a selfextraction file is executed. The self extracted files must be copied to to specefic place on the harddisc. In the batch file the user is asked where the path is (if it's not located the default place) Part of the batch file: @ECHO OFF IF EXIST "C:\Program Files\program\program.exe". ( set PROGRAMPATH=C:\Program Files\ ) ELSE ( echo Program folder was not found. Please enter the path for Program set /p PROGRAMPATH=Path: ) echo Copying data to "%PROGRAMPATH%"... copy /Y "*.txt" "%PROGRAMPATH%" Now for my question. If a user then enters a new path, is it possible to save that path. So when he executes the self extraction packagde again, it could remember that new path?

  • How do I handle nils in views?

    - by Badweather
I have the following models set up: class Contact < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :band belongs_to :mode validates_presence_of :call, :mode validates_associated :mode, :band validates_presence_of :band, :if => :no_freq? validates_presence_of :freq, :if => :no_band? protected def no_freq? freq.nil? end def no_band? band.nil? end end class Band < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :logs end class Mode < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :logs end When I enter a frequency on my new view it allows for no band to be specified if a freq is entered. This creates a problem in my other views though because band is now nil. How do I allow for band not to be specified and just show up as empty on my index and show views, and then in the edit view allow one to be specified at a later point in time. I have been able to get my index to display a blank by doing: contact.band && contact.band.name But I'm not sure if this is a best approach, and I'm unsure of how to apply a similar solution to my other views. Many thanks from a rails newb!

  • ODBC continually prompts for password

    - by doublej92
I have an application built in Access 2003 that uses a system DSN ODBC to connect to a SQL Server. The ODBC uses SQL authentication. When the application is started, the user is prompted to authenticate into the database. I have another computer set up within the same domain that has Access 2007 installed on it. I log in using the same credentials that I use to get on the machine that has Access 2003. I converted my application to Access 2007 format and everything works fine. However, when other users try to use the application, they are prompted to enter the database password every time a table is accessed. Thinking it was a problem with my ODBC, I confirmed that the connections were set up the same way on both of my machines, and the user's machine. Here is the interesting part, when the user logged into my machine, it started prompting for the password every time. When I logged into the user's machine, the application worked fine. Anyone have any ideas? All help is appreciated!

  • Problem with Landscape and Portrait view in a TabBar Application

    - by JoshD
I have an TabBar app that I would like to be in landscape and portrait. The issue is when I go to tab 2 make a selection from my table then select tab 1 and rotate the device, then select tab 2 again the content does not know that the device rotated and will not display my custom orientated content correctly. I am trying to write a priovate method that tells the view what orientation it is currently in. IN viewDidLoad I am assuming it is in portrait but in shouldAutoRotate I have it looking in the private method for the correct alignment of the content. Please Help!! Here is my code: #import "DetailViewController.h" #import "ScheduleTableViewController.h" #import "BrightcoveDemoAppDelegate.h" #import "Constants.h" @implementation DetailViewController @synthesize CurrentLevel, CurrentTitle, tableDataSource, logoName, showDescription, showDescriptionInfo, showTime, showTimeInfo, tableBG; - (void)layoutSubviews { showLogo.frame = CGRectMake(40, 20, 187, 101); showDescription.frame = CGRectMake(85, 140, 330, 65); showTime.frame = CGRectMake(130, 10, 149, 119); tableBG.frame = CGRectMake(0, 0, 480, 320); } /* // The designated initializer.
