    If you are using vxvm, you may have issues when you try to unconfigure a disk root@techsupport2 # cfgadm -c unconfigure c1::dsk/c1t3d0cfgadm: Component system is busy, try again: failed to offline:     Resource             Information       ----------------       -------------------------/dev/dsk/c1t3d0   Device being used by VxVM“cfgadm unconfigure” command fails here.The way to resolve this is to disable the disks path from DMP control.   • Cluster Node Recovery Using Second Node in Solaris Cluster

    Assumptions:Node 0a is the cluster node that has crashed and could not boot anymore.Node 0b is the node in cluster and in production with services active.Both nodes have their boot disk mirrored via SDS/SVM.We have many options to clone the boot disk from node 0b:- make a copy via network using the ufsdump command and pipe to ufsrestore - make a copy inserting the disk locally on node 0b and creating the third mirror with SDS- make a copy inserting the disk locally on node 0b using dd commandIn this procedure we are going to use dd command (from my experience this is the best option).Bare in mind that in the examples provided we work on Sun Fire V240 systems which have SCSI internal disks.     Solaris Cluster start or stop Oracle database using credentials of a specified user in Oracle Database. If you have issues with starting of Oracle Database resource and see ORA-28001 error message in /var/adm/messages it means that database user's who is used by Solaris Cluster to start Oracle database, password has expired. To resolve the issue reset the password of the Oracle database user SQL> alter user user_name identified by password  and change connection string in Solaris Cluster using following command -bash-3.2 # /usr/cluster/bin/clresource set -p Connect_string="user/password" oracle_resource

    I'm trying to use Simple XML to convert my java objects to XML format in my Android application. I'm getting NoClassDefFoundError at line Serializer serializer = new Persister(); java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.simpleframework.xml.core.Persister I have simple-xml-2.6.1.jar in project class path and when I got NoClassDefFoundError I also put these 3 jars in classpath stax-1.2.0.jar stax-api-1.0.1.jar xpp3-1.1.3_8.jar but made no use. Still having NoClassDefFoundError. Any kind of help will be appreciated.Thank you.

  • floating div problem in IE7

    I'm trying to use a second background image with a floated div but it doesn't work in IE6 & 7 I'm aware that the floating div's is a pain in * in IE7 and lower versions but I really need to make it work. here is the code I'm using <body style="background-color:#FFFFFF; margin-top:0px; margin-right:0px;" topmargin="0" rightmargin="0" leftmargin="0"> <div id="bg2" style="float:right; top:0px; width:450px; height:151px; margin-right:0px; padding-right:0px; font-size:1px; overflow:visible; background-image:url(images/back2.jpg);"></div> <center> <div style="position:relative; top:0px; width:1050px; margin:0px; padding:0px; vertical-align:top; text-align:left;"> ....(huge div container)... I also tried to remove width attribute from the div which contains 2nd background image, then get the windows size and add the difference to the container div as left attribute with Jquery. It worked fine in all IE versions but this time not on Chrome here is a print screen any ideas please?
