  • Any alternative or other option for anchor point in cocos2d ?

    I have game application (cocos2d) in which, a ball is to be shooted from a cannon, this ball travels through a trajectory path and land on a building. Now the problem is that according to the requirement I have to increase the size of the background image due to which I have to set the Building image with anchor point now I have to put fire image on the building dynamically on different window locations, for this should I use same anchor point option or there are some alternative options to accomplish this task.

  • Progressive enhancement of anchor tags to avoid onclick="return false;"

    Unobtrusive JS suggests that we don't have any onclick attributes in our HTML templates. <a href="/controller/foo/1">View Foo 1</a> A most basic progressive enhancement is to convert an that anchor tag to use XHR to retrieve a DOM fragment. So, I write JS to add an event listener for a."click" then make an XHR to a.href. Alas, the browser still wants to navigate to "/controller/foo". So, I write JS to dynamically inject a.onclick = "return false;". Still unobtrusive (I guess), but now I'm paying the the cost of an extra event handler. To avoid the cost of 2 event listeners, I could shove my function call into the onclick attribute <a href="/controller/foo/1" onclick="myXHRFcn(); return false;"> But that's grodo for all sorts of reasons. To make it more interesting, I might have 100 anchor tags that I want to enhance. A better pattern is a single listener on a parent node that relies on event bubbling. That's cool, but how do I short circuit the browser from navigating to the URL without this on every anchor node? onclick="return false;" Manipulating the href is not an option. It must stay intact so the context menu options to copy or open in new page work as expected.

  • Could crosslinking using very general anchor texts be a reason for a drop in rankings?

    I have crosslinked 20 sites and I thought I have been penalized for this, asked this question and some experienced members told me maybe that crosslinking may not necessarily be the reason. The sites are on same host, different C class IP and every site in linked to each other. Each site targets long tail kewords. Site 1 - BMW Used Cars - and my area Site 2 - WW Used Cars - and my area And so on... When I crosslinked them (in the sidebar), I did it for the users; instead of repeating the terms used cars and my location over and over (since my users are targeted) I just crosslinked them using the brand: BMW, WW. Targeting locally, my niches are not overly competitive, so I did not need to many external links to rank on various positions on the 1st page. I'm thinking that when I chose to link using only the brand, google might have thought I wanted to actually rank for BBW and WW, hence the drop in my targeted local traffic. Could this be? I now have no-followed the links and I am noticing a slight recovery, but if it's not a interlinking penalty it would be a shame not to benefit from my links.

  • How do I make a child control re-anchor to its parent Form when it has been cut off on a small resol

    I have a Windows Form with a default size of 1100 x 400, and I have a DataGridView control on it anchored to Top, Left, Bottom, Right. Resizing the form on a screen with resolution higher than 1100 x 400 works fine, and the anchoring works well, resizing the DataGridView control as expected. When I launch the form on a screen with resolution 800x600, the form is cut off, and made to fit the 800 x 600. The DataGridView is cut off, and cannot be seen entirely - it bleeds off the form to the right, so it's not respecting the right anchor. Resizing the form in this situation doesn't respect the anchoring settings for some reason: the DataGridView control does not resize when the form is resized. Is there a way programmatically (on a resize event or something) to force the child DataGridView control to anchor to the sides of the form? I've already tried calling a PerformLayout and Refresh in the Form's resize event but it's rather redundant, isn't it?

  • Jquery: encasing div and anchor link binded to same event.

    im having trouble figuring out how to bind mouseout() to my entire nav bar including the links. when a user hovers over a link in #nav a sub menu is shown. all is well there. what i want to do is fadeOut that sub menu when the user hovers out of the entire #nav. my code for the mouseout: $('#nav').mouseout(function() { setTimeout(function() { //$('.sub-link').fadeOut(); }, 2000); }); when i hover over an anchor link which resides in #nav, i see the sub-menu. then i guess the mouseout() even fires and the sub-menu fades out. is there anyway to have the #nav and any anchor links within it to act as one? i'd paste my markup but even indenting it 4 spaces still shows as rendered html.. TIA

    Installed SharePoint Services v3 (SP2, october 2009 cumulative updates, Language Pack), attached to a content database I had previously (all works). Installed Search server 2008 Express (with language pack) on top of WSS and crawl does not work. However it works for newly created web application + database. Was playing around with accounts, permissions to try get it working. Currently I have WSS_Crawler account with such permissions: Office Search Server runs with WSS_Crawler account Config database has read permissions for WSS_Crawler Content database has read permissions for WSS_Crawler WSS_Crawler is owner of search database. Added WSS_Crawler to SQL server browser user group and administrator Yes, i'v given more permissions than needed, but it doesn't even work with that and i don't know if its permission problem or what. Crawl log says there is Error in the Site Data Web Service., nothing more. There were known issues with a similar error: Error in the Site Data Web Service. (Value does not fall within the expected range.), but this is not the case as thats an old issue and i hope it has been included in SP2... Logs are from olders to newest (descending order).   • What is a Valid Trust Anchor in Windows 7 relating to Wifi?

    The error below just started happening at work with a personal laptop running Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm unable to use installed, non-expired certificates to connect to a private wireless network. No recent changes were made by IT that would explain the issue. It worked fine several weeks ago and happens on two laptops I own. The details and some screen shots are here: http://www.wiredprairie.us/blog/index.php/archives/906 The error we don't understand is this: The credentials provided by the server could not be validated. We recommend that you terminate the connection and contact your administrator with the information provided in the details. You may still connect but doing so exposes you to the security risk by a possible rogue server. The server XYZ presented a valid certificate issued by Company Name Certificate Authority but Company Name Certificate Authority is not configured as a valid trust anchor for this profile. We don't know to to resolve the issue without ignoring the error (nor what's changed that could explain this new error). Update: The new information is that we have our own Root CA, and that the certificates were not updated recently, nor have any expired.

  • Help me upgrade my pf.conf for OpenBSD 4.7

    I'm planning on upgrading my OpenBSD to 4.7 (from 4.6) and as you may or may not know, they changed the syntax for pf.conf. This is the relevant portion from the upgrade guide: pf(4) NAT syntax change As described in more detail in this mailing list post, PF's separate nat/rdr/binat (translation) rules have been replaced with actions on regular match/filter rules. Simple rulesets may be converted like this: nat on $ext_if from 10/8 -> ($ext_if) rdr on $ext_if to ($ext_if) -> 1.2.3.4 becomes match out on $ext_if from 10/8 nat-to ($ext_if) match in on $ext_if to ($ext_if) rdr-to 1.2.3.4 and... binat on $ext_if from $web_serv_int to any -> $web_serv_ext becomes match on $ext_if from $web_serv_int to any binat-to $web_serv_ext nat-anchor and/or rdr-anchor lines, e.g. for relayd(8), ftp-proxy(8) and tftp-proxy(8), are no longer used and should be removed from pf.conf(5), leaving only the anchor lines. Translation rules relating to these and spamd(8) will need to be adjusted as appropriate. N.B.: Previously, translation rules had "stop at first match" behaviour, with binat being evaluated first, followed by nat/rdr depending on direction of the packet.     I wrote code in android for connecting to server with ssl, I use BKS algorithm, I can create socket but when I send data to switch, I get this error javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Trust anchor for certification path not found. It is wonderful for me, I can connect to another server in local network with another BKS file and I can get response from that server, but with correct certificate in outside network, I cannot connect to another server, is it possible with network problem? What is the T value for the point on the curve farthest from P3? Here is an image with an example curve. The curve bulges on the left, so there is a point on the curve farther from P3 than P0. I found this reference for finding the minimum distance from an arbitrary point to a curve. Is trial and error the only way to solve for maximum distance as well? Does it make any difference that the point is an anchor on the curve? Thanks
