(6) In the COM tab, I saw my "Car Server Type Lib", it's ok until now. I try to use the Object Browser to browse my COM lib, but the Visual Studio said "the following components could not be browsed", and I noticed that there's no new reference added to the list in the C# project Reference. I can use the tlbimp.exe to generate a interop.CarCom.dll, and then use the COM through this interop dll, but I want this interop assembly to be generated automatically when I just add reference to the COM.   • Blank Cacti Graphs

    I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I'm having an issue with Cacti 0.8.8b not displaying any data in graphs. The graphs are being created and I see files in /var/lib/cacti/rra. The device in cacti shows that that it's able to query snmp and ping is alive. The graphs are still empty though. snmpwalk 127.0.0.1 -v2c -c public works as it should. It walks all MIBs. I'm quite perplexed as to why this isn't working any longer. It was graphing data but then it just stopped. And when it was graphing data it was graphing it intermittently.   • HTMLUNIT Facebook javascript warning

    Hi I am trying to create simple application that would be able to search people on facebook using given e-mail. I am already able to log into an account using the HTMLunit tool and even create a page, which should throw result of my search. But when I try to print the result as XML the file is missing some blocks of javascript results (I can tell that they are missing by comparing file created by my application and source code, that can be viewed by using IE) Is there any way around this? I just need to get the same result IE's showsource function does. Thanks a lot.     The closest question I could find to my problem is This one. The similarity is: I have a profile in Google Analytics (GA) that has been collecting data for a year. The domain setting in GA is "http://example.com". The site, however, will redirect any non-www request, to www.example.com, via a typical .htaccess refinement. We do this to keep the traffic on the load balancers. I don't know the method the original user had in place, but we're doing a 301 on any non-www to the www equivalent. I believe this has to be somewhat standard. Where I differ from this question is in the error message I receive when trying to load the In-Page Analytics. I'm instead receiving: Error: The Website in your settings (http://example.com), redirects into a different domain. (http://www.example.com). In-Page Analytics currently works on only one domain. Note that www.example.com and example.com are NOT considered to be on the same domain. Also, make sure you're not redirecting from http:// to https:// or vice versa. I understand what's being explained, it just seems as though this can't be the end-all. I tried updating the Analytics settings, which from day one has been set as "One domain with multiple subdomains", but I don't see any options to change the URL ( which is currently set to http://example.com and not http://www.example.com ). I'd prefer not to have to change the URL if that was at all possible, but I can't seem to find any documentation or anything that provide any possible solutions.

    I am running a FreeBSD server and I want to redirect a specific website domain to another domain including subdirectory. I want to bypass that domain to alter the XML results it returns. I tried the hosts file solution, but that way I can only redirect to an IP address without subdir. So that's no solution. Is there another way to solve this? Installing something on the server if needed is not a problem. Unless it's a heavy program.

  • Getting mydomain.com/subdomain to resolve to subdomain.mydomain.com

    I have content on subdomain1.mydomain.com which can't reside on mydomain.com/subdomain1. Nevertheless, all my other content resides in folders of the mydomain.com/subdomain* type. For the sake of consistency, I'd like the content actually located at subdomain1.mydomain.com to appear as if it were on mydomain.com/subdomain1 — Is there any way, using .htaccess, that I can achieve this, bearing in mind that: (1) the subdomain itself also has a nested permalink structure, meaning that there are additional folders in the directory structure of the subdomain; (2) I want the browser to display the address as mydomain/subdomain1 after the redirect.

  • PHP: Cookie only sent to http://www.xxx.com and NOT http://xxx.com

    Hi, I have a php login which sets 2 cookies once some one login. the problem is that if you login from : http://www.mydomain.com and you go to http://mydomain.com you will find your self not logged in, I think that's because the browser only send the cookies to the first syntax. It's only one domain, the difference is the www. before the domain name, so how to set cookies to the whole domain whatever there is www. or not ? Thanks

The installed application is a web application, hosted on IIS. Here's my question: Is there any tool around that is able to compare two boxes installations?     I am trying to redirect www.domain.com or domain.com to www.domain.com/temp.html I am using the following code: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^.*$ RewriteRule ^/?$ "http\:\/\/www\.domain\.com\/temp\.html" [R=301,L] That works however I do not want to redirect IP. So if someone types in the static IP of the domain then I do not want them to be redirected to www.domain.com/temp.html Anyone have the code to take care of this?

    Is it possible to forward firstdomain.com to www.seconddomain.com or seconddomain.com using surely dns records? I know how to forward www.firstdomain.com to seconddomain.com (with CNAME). What I am trying to do is move my site from one domain to another (new) one, and not break all the links which use the old domain name. I can't do a 301 redirect as it's hosted on Github Pages and I don't have access to the webserver. Thanks

    its been about a week i have changed my url from non www to www version it was done by my host provider .....now i want to ask how much time does google take to remove my sitename.com from indexing and replace it with www.sitename.com (site redirection has been already done by host provider )as it is still showing old ones my new urls are indexed but my main url www.sitename.com is not indexed...or so do i have to remove those old urls personally...its been already about 5-6 days?????

However I would like to forward also my naked domain (mydomain.com) to end up in www.mydomain.com. I assume I should modify 'A' DNS record in my provider but what IP should I point it to?

  • Migration of .NET COM object to 64 bit.

    Hi, We have C++ application which uses several COM object. COM object are .NET based (using COM Interop). I need to migrate application to 64 bit. I specifically need C++ application to be 64 bit. I don't want to recompile all of .NET com object to 64 bit and deliver two sets of DLL's (32 bit and 64 bit). I was investigating and found that I can load 32 bit COM Dll's in 32 bit surrogate process using (DllSurrogate in registry). I know how to do that, but it means that all COM objects will become out of process. In the C++ I had the code: CoCreateInstance(CLSID_SomeClass, NULL, CLSCTX_INPROC_SERVER, IID_SomeInterface, (void**)&pobj); It worked fine, but as soon as I switch to CLSCTX_LOCAL_SERVER (and add registry keys for DllSurrogate), it can't find interfaces (error 0x80004002). I checked registry and found out that when .NET COM DLL is registered, it adds ClsID registry keys, but doesn't add Interface and TypeLib registry key. The question is, how to create these registry keys for .NET COM? Regards, Victor

    ubuntu 9.04, user luca wants to access the /var/www directory. the directory is owned by user root, group root I changed the group ownership to www-data (sudo chgrp -R www-data /var/www/) and added write privileges to that group (sudo chmod -R g+r /var/www), and added luca to that group (sudo adduser luca www-data). Now, why can't luca still write to /var/www? It should be able to, right? in /etc/group we have: "www-data:x:33:luca" permissions for /var/www are: "drwxrwxr-x 2 root www-data 4096 Feb 26 15:35 www"

    I ran the following commands to set up ACL on the /var/www folder in my Ubuntu 12.04 Server: sudo usermod -g www-data abe sudo chown -R www-data:www-data /var/www sudo chmod -R 775 /var/www I downloaded Wordpress using wget in my /var/www folder and unzipped the downloaded file: cd /var/www wget http://wordpress.org/latest.zip mv latest.zip wordpress.zip unzip wordpress.zip I created a new database and user in mysql and attempted to run the setup process through the web interface. When I enter the configuration info in wordpress I run into the following error message: Sorry, but I can't write the wp-config.php file. When I run ls -la, I see that the files are owned by my user abe, but they are part of the group www-data. Would I have to run the chmod command every time I copy new files to /var/www? sudo chmod -R 775 /var/www

  • COM INTEROP Support - which is better? C# or VB

    I keep hearing that c# is "better" than vb... but as far as I can see, aside from syntactical differences, both compile down to the same IL. I've found some good articles by googling that explain what the differences are between the two and so I feel comfortable in "diffusing" conversations between developers arguing over vb / c#. =) But I did read an article that said vb.net 2005 had better support for com interop stuff. But i'm wondering if this is still the case? This is of interest to me because we are in the middle of redesigning an old vb6 app that communicates with some older COM components. Does anyone have recent experience with .NET and COM interop? Thanks.
