    You probably already know that Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 was not in fact launched on 11/11/11.  We had our reasons, one of the primary ones being that would have collided with Veterans Day. But I'm going to venture a blog post today--even though it's again of course Veterans Day--to catch up on some news for Oracle Solaris 11's second anniversary (plus two days). Most recently, we had lots to talk about at Oracle OpenWorld -- Markus Flierl gives an excellent recap on his blog.   • How to change the placement of the left border of tables in Word

    Hallo everybody I have the following problem: in MS Word, the left-side (and also the right-side) border is not aligned with the rest of the text on a page. It's actually the text in the first column of a table that is aligned with the text outside the table. And the table border is a little bit to the left. I find this layout quite a bit annoying, as I don't want to have any elements on a page outside the range that is used by normal text. Now my question: is it possible to have tables in Word such that the border lines align with the text outside the table? Thanks, Markus

    The following is an excerpt from the UniversalThread conference coverage of the German Visual FoxPro Developer Conference 2005 written by Armin Neudert and Jan Vit. Unfortunately, my sessions were not covered at all but I was there as a speaker after all: [...] We are happy to welcome back several speakers that have already been giving sessions in previous DevCons, but hadn’t been here for one or more years. In detail: Steven Black is back after several years. Marcia Akins and her husband Andy Kramek couldn’t come in 2004 and are back again now. Regarding German speakers, Andreas Flohr and Torsten Weggen are also here again, after not doing sessions for two, respectively four years at this conference.
