  • How to send data many times to web browser in response to one request?

    I have a form on my web page, it allows to submit many queries to my website, every query is on a separate line in TextArea. Because waiting for all queries to complete is too long I would like to update the web page after every query completes - send result of one query to a web browser, new result should be appended to old results that are already on the web page. How to do this in ASP.NET MVC 2? I will be grateful for helpful responses.

I know selection of element for a purpose is most important thing. what i should judge person ability from his code; from a good written, managed, optimized css or how he wrote class and id names?     Hi! I want to upgrade jQuery inside my drupal installation. At the moment I have jQuery 1.2.6 and I would like to upgrade it to jQuery 1.4 I guess some Drupal modules still depends on the old jQuery version. I've tried jquery_update module to upgrade jQuery, but it didn't work. It asked to replace the original Drupal files in the "misc" folder with the new ones, but it didn't work. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a better method instead of using another module thanks

A search done at Microsoft Visual C++ Developer Center doesn't give any results for "sizeOfInput". I am not a C/C++ expert, and am curious to find out why this happens - any C/C++ experts who can "shed some light" on this? Unrelated note: I seriously thought of rewriting the whole code to use quicksort or merge sort before posting it here. But, after all, it is not Stooge sort...

  • C#, why does Convert.ToBoolean("0") fail?

    I know that trying to convert string "0" to boolean will fail, I also know how to fix this, thanks to Jon Skeets answers on other questions. What I would like to know is WHY does C# not recognise "0" as a valid input for a boolean conversion, surely you could look at it like 0 = false, 1 = true, or even -1 = false and 0 = true, anyways, my logic tells me that it could be a valid input, so is there a very good reason why its not? My bet is old vb6 would be able to recognize the string input "0" as valid.

    it happens when i change the DataSource. i have checked everything(stack traces, all exception information, datasources, grids, all the threads, etc) i have also write lots of diagnostic code(+3000 line) it seems to be a virus, it is going to destroy everything in my app. all grids are going to have the very same error.(while i have not changed any of the code).wtf . it makes my datagridviews to have an red X on them.

    Problem: I want to make iPhone OS 2.1 apps, but Xcode now always makes automatically an iPhone OS 3.0 project. I forgot about it and now I have an app which I want to test on my iPod touch, but I need to build OS 2.1. Is there a way to get this working? The dropdown from top left in Xcode only offers to build for OS 3.0 device. However, when I open old projects, there I have OS 2.1 available.

But the UIImageView must contain a special image, depending on the device's current orientation.     I'm using xdebug to profile some PHP code on Windows and using WinCacheGrind/Webgrind to analyse the output, but I'm getting some strange results. Specifically, the total cumulative time for a single method is greater than 100%! How is it possible that more time is spent executing this function's code and all the functions that it calls than the total time it took to execute the whole script? What am I missing here?

Everything worked very well until when the javascript code was in the main file, but when I moved javascript to an external file the function seems not called anymore.
