  Hi everyone, I'm trying to make a predicate that includes special characters For example: [[myIngredients filteredSetUsingPredicate:[NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"name BEGINSWITH[c] %@", [alphabet objectAtIndex:idx]]]; Here I will get all the ingredient which starts with (let say for idx = 5) 'e'. As I have to do my app in english and french, some ingredients start with special character like 'é' or even 'œ' for 'o'. How can I include these special characters in my predicate? Best

Aniways, I saw in some topics that the pitch could be fetected thanks to the Fourier transform but I didn't really understand how to implement it.   By selective column display i mean the following: a control shows a listing of widgets (WidgetVm.DisplayName), with the default display name being in English (WidgetVm.EnglishName), but with the option to show the widget in French (WidgetVm.FrenchName). There also sorting and filtering available, which is why CollectionViewSource seems ideal. I know you can have multiple views over the same source but I haven't figured out how to do this yet. I know to look at the $_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE'] (not accurate but mostly useful to detect location, for example if an IP range's users set French to their browser then it means that this range belongs to France gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) then may be to whois gethostbyaddr($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) sometimes $HTTP_USER_AGENT (Firefox's user agent string has language code, not accurate but mostly can be used to detect the location) But what about cities?

I'm assuming it's not name, since this would create duplicates. Is it just the person's Facebook ID?   Hello, I am having some problems getting some French text to convert to UTF8 so that it can be displayed properly, either in a console, text file or in a GUI element.   Hi Using RubyMine 2.0.2 for the first time today, on Mac OSX Leopard. If I create files in the filesystem (with, say, script/generate) those new files do not appear in rubymine. I have had limited success with restarting the program, in that the files in the db/ folder are added and removed, but unfortunately new folders in the views directory are not shown.
