• Setting TeX Live path for root

  I have installed TeX Live 2011 vanilla and I have trouble setting the TeX Live path for root (in Ubuntu 11.10). The problem is that when I run sudo tlmgr I get: sudo: tlmgr: command not found To fix the path for non-root it was sufficient to add PATH=/usr/local/texlive/2011/bin/x86_64-linux:$PATH to /etc/profile. I have tried adding this same line to /root/.bashrc and I have also tried to add it to /etc/profile.d/zzz-texlive.sh like Herbert suggest in http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/26624/tlmgr-inaccessible/26626#26626 but it does not help.

  I have a challenge that I haven’t overcome in the last two days using Stored Procedures and SQL 2008. I took several approaches but must fell short. One appraoch very interesting was using a table substraction. It’s really all about table subtraction. I was wondering if you could help me crack this one. Here is the challenge: Two tables 1Testdb y 2Testdb. My first step was to select ID relationships ([2Testdb].Acc_id) on table 2Testdb for one given individual ([2Testdb].Bus_id). Then query table 1Testdb for records not mathcing my original selection from 2Testdb. But other approaches are welcome.   Hi, Been trying to find a solution for this for a while with not much luck...   Hello, I am looking for a plugin that would add the folloiwng on our blog site built on Wordpess slef hosted: Authors' name to appear on every blog (below title where currentlly date and tags appear) Authors page being added to our blog site On authors page display authors' profile including bio, website, social network profile buttons and published posts. So it would be more like how it is set-up at Mashable: http://mashable.com/author/pete-cashmore/. Is there a plugin or plugins I could use to achieve these? Thank for help.

• Windows Vista Corrupt Registry

  Hey, I have a laptop with Windows Vista Basic. It won't boot. I have tried an automatic repair with the installation disc but the error cannot be repaired automatically. According to the test results the registry is corrupt. I have found this guide on how to recover from a corrupt registry with Windows XP here. Is this guide also applicable to Vista or is there an alternative method I can try (short of reinstalling Vista)? Cheers, Pete
