  • Is it possible to include JButton in a JTable?

    I have a JTable that stores the results of a database query, so far so good. What I want is for the last column in each table to have a clickible JButton that will open the edit screen for the object represented in that row, and that means the button will need to know the details of the first column in the table from its own row (the ID from the database). Any advice? I already tried just adding JButtons but they turned into Text when I tried to run it.

  • SSL with external static content server

    I have a .Net web application that for performance issues gets all the static data (CSS, Images, JS) from an external server that is on different location and different hosting company. I want to enable SSL on my site without the users getting a message: "Page contains both secure and insecure elements" Does this means I’ll have to get two SSL Certificates one for each server? If I want the users to continue getting the static content from the external server what other options do I have? Thanks.

  • Memory issues - Living vs. overall -> app is killed

    I'm trying to check my applications memory issues in Instruments. When I load the application I play some sounds and show some animations in UIImageViews. To save some memory I load the sounds only when I need it and when I stop playing it I free it from the memory. problem 1: My application is using about 5.5MB of Living memory. BUT The Overall section is growing after start to 20MB and then it's slowly growing (about 100kB/sec). But responsible Library is OpenAL (OAL::Buffer), dyld (_dyld_start)-I am not sure what this really is, and some other stuff like ft_mem_qrealloc, CGFontStrikeSetValue, … problem 2: When the overall section breaks about 30MB, application crashes (is killed). According to the facts I already read about overall memory, it means then my all allocations and deallocation is about 30MB. But I don't really see the problem. When I need some sound for example I load it to the memory and when I don't need it anymore I release it. But that means when I load 1MB sound, this operation increase overall memory usage with 2MB. Am I right? And when I load 10 sounds my app crashes just because the fact my overall is too high even living is still low??? I am very confused about it. Could someone please help me clear it up?   • Passing a DataTable into a Stored Procedure. Is there a better way?

    Can A datatable somehow be passed into SQL Server 2005 or 2008 ? I know the standard way seesm to be passing XML to a SP. And a datatable can easily be converted to XML somehow to do that. What about passing a .NET object into a SP ? Is that possible ? I remember hearing about SQL and CLR working together in 2008 somehow but I never understood.. Maybe that means you can refer to .NET objects within a Stored Procedure ?

    Hi, i am using subversion as RCS. Always when a new version of my project is finised i create a tag of it (copy of the trunk). Does anybody know how i can protect this tagged directory from being accidentally modified? At the moment as a workaround i lock all files. But this sill means that the user with the lock can edit the files. Is there any better solution?

  • XCode CoreData files not found/opening

    Hello, I am using the Xcode 3.1.4 that means SDK 3.1.2 The problem is that I cannot open .xcdatamodel (Core Data) file and I don't even get the Data Model option in Design Menu bar. When ever I double click and try to open the file, XCode gives me an error saying that it cannot find the file at (my project's path).Perhaps it was moved or deleted? , but the file exists at the same path. Please help me out as I haven't upgraded my system to Snow Leopard so cant use SDK 3.2 Regards jAmi

Currently I found some information on Using Remote Depots article where they say how to map the remote depot as read only. Is there the only solution to do mappings on both servers? - this means that I could not use a single branch spec to do both ways integrations.

  • On iPhone, what does EPERM (errno == 1) mean in reponse to send() of UDP data?

    We sending data over UDP from the iPhone, sometimes, but not always, in response to our first send() of UDP data, we are getting back a -1 return code and errno set to 1 (EPERM / operation not permitted). The EPERM result for send(), sendto() and sendmsg() is not documented in the man pages as a return result from those functions. Has anyone out there encountered this and might be able to shed some light on what this errno value means in this context?

    I ask this question because the international standardization subcommittee for programming languages, or ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22 Programming languages, states on this page: http://www.open-std.org/JTC1/SC22/WG14/www/standards that Technical Corrigendum 3, the latest one, was published in 2007. Now I take it that this means the C language it self was changed and that the books and tutorials pre-2007 may contain outdated information. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Adam
