• Common files in output directories in a C# program

  My VS2008 solution has the following setup. Program1 Program2 Common.dll (used and referenced by both Program1 and Program2) In debug mode I like to set my output directory to Program Files\Productname, because some code will get the exe path for various reasons. My problem is that Program1 when compiled, will give an error that it could not copy Common.dll if Program2 is started. And vise versa. The annoyance here is that I don't even make changes to Common.dll that often, but 100% of the time it will try to copy it, not only when there are changes. I end up having to close all programs, and then build and then start them. So my question is, how can I only have VS2008 copy the Common.dll if there are changes inside the Common.dll project?

  I've written a launcher program that fires off a given number of executables, with the following code: Process.Start(strPath2EXE); The problem I'm running into is it seems I'm being limited to launching only about four copies of the executable. Is there a different way I can launch the executables without this limit? I'm hoping to run 10+ concurrently. • Program quits if pipe is closed

  I am trying to write to a pipe using C++. The following post in this series will show how to read the message from the queue again. 1. Source code The following java code will be used to write a message to the JMS queue. It is based on a sample program provided with the WebLogic Server installation. The sample is not installed by default, but needs to be installed manually using the WebLogic Server Custom Installation option, together with many, other useful samples. You can either copy-paste the following code into your editor, or install all the samples. Go to $MIDDLEWARE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/bin  and execute . ./setDomainEnv.sh Collect the following information required to run the script: The JNDI name of a JMS queue to use In the Weblogic server console > Services > Messaging > JMS Modules > (Module name, e.g. TestJMSModule) > (JMS queue name, e.g. TestJMSQueue)Select the queue and note its JNDI name, e.g. jms/TestJMSQueue The JNDI name of a connection factory to connect to the queue Follow the same path as above to get the connection factory for the above queue, e.g. TestConnectionFactory and its JNDI namee.g. jms/TestConnectionFactory The URL and port of the WebLogic server running the above queue Check the JMS server for the above queue and the managed server it is targeted to, for example soa_server1. Leave the other values at their defaults. Press Finish Create a new Java class called QueueSend and use the default values This will create a file called QueueSend.java. Open QueueSend.java, if it is not already open and replace all its contents with the QueueSend java code listed above Some lines might have warnings due to unfound objects. These are due to missing libraries in the JDeveloper project. Add the following libraries to the JDeveloper project: right-click the QueueSend  project in the navigation menu and select Libraries and Classpath , then Add JAR/Directory  Go to the folder containing the JDeveloper installation and find/choose the file javax.jms_1.1.1.jar , e.g. at D:\oracle\jdev11116\modules\javax.jms_1.1.1.jar Do the same for the weblogic.jar file located, for example in D:\oracle\jdev11116\wlserver_10.3\server\lib\weblogic.jar Now you should be able to compile the project, for example by selecting the Make or Rebuild icons   If you try to execute the project, you will get a usage message, as it requires a parameter pointing to the WLS installation containing the JMS queue, for example t3://jbevans-lx.de.oracle.com:8001 . You can automatically pass this parameter to the program from JDeveloper by editing the project’s Run/Debug/Profile. Select the project properties, select Run/Debug/Profile and edit the Default run configuration and add the connection parameter to the Program Arguments field If you execute it again, you will see that it has passed the parameter to the start command If you get a ClassNotFoundException for the class weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory , then check that the weblogic.jar file was correctly added to the project in one of the earlier steps above. You need to make one more change to the project. If you execute it now, it will prompt for the payload for the JMS message, but you won’t be able to enter it by default in JDeveloper. Now when you execute the project, you will get a text entry field at the bottom into which you can enter the payload. You can enter multiple messages until you enter “quit”, which will cause the program to stop. • Versions. "Is not a working copy"

  A little background first: I'm a designer/developer and decided to use subversion for a personal project. I'm the only one working on this project. I've setup a Beanstalk account and installed Versions on Mac. Locally I have MySQL and PHP running through MAMP. What I want to do is develop locally and push code into Beanstalk. I'm not planning on deploying from Beanstalk to my live server at this moment. In Beanstalk I created a repository and imported all my code. I then installed Versions and added a bookmark to the Beanstalk repository. So far so good. Next I guess (this is a wild guess) I need to add a so called 'working copy bookmark' so that Versions can watch my local copy for changes and commit it to my Beanstalk repository. Problem: When I click 'Create working copy bookmark' in Versions and I select a folder on my computer I get the error: '/Applications/MAMP/www_mydomain' is not a working copy' I have no clue what that means and now I'm stuck. How can I tell Versions to keep track of changes of a local folder?

• grailsui plugin for accordion not working

  Hi! I have been trying to figure out what's wrong with grailsui accordion. I have checked out the sample source files (http://guidemo.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/) from different ui tags, like menu, datatable and etc. they are working fine but the accordion is not working properly. All i can see is all of the divs shown. the panels are not moving since they are already shown. I've also followed the screencast for it. I've used the yui-skin-sam class name and I've downloaded the grails plugins.grails-ui=1.2-SNAPSHOT. I am not sure what's wrong.I used the rich-ui plugin and it is working great. But there are still features that are not in rich-ui compared to the possible configurations for the grails-ui tags. Anyway. if you have any suggestions to what js library I may use for a grails application or if you have a working grails-ui accordion sample, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.   Hi Everybody, I am trying to use Facebook connect in my application, but its not working as I desire. When I am trying to use the API Key and the API SecretKey of my application which I have registered with the facebook its not working. I have downloaded the code for the facebook. In the SessionViewController.m file when I pass my key values its not working. What I am trying to achieve is, when the app launches the first page is the Facebook Login Page. The user enters his username and password and then the next view should display. But nothing is happening, even the label doesn't display the username. • Android debug mode not working waiting for device

  I'm trying to get my android phone working to run apps from inside an IDE. Got it working on windows no problem, currently working in fedora (18) a lot though so wanted to get it working with that. Got IntelliJ and android sdk installed, problem is when I try to run the default hello world app it wont work it just says waiting for device.. Ran adb devices got List of devices attached ???????????? no permissions Leads me to believe the driver isn't installed? Phone I'm using is a HTC Sensation. Does anyone know what I can do to try and resolve it? The HTC web page doesn't offer me drivers to install. Also noticed in /etc/udev/rules.d/..android.rules there is nothing about Sensation. Seems it recognises my nexus 7 though.. Edit: Tried my nexus.. got List of devices attached 901839238298923 offline So it doesn't even work with that.. confusing.. Any help would be appreciated. • Python threading question (Working with a method that blocks forever)

  I am trying to wrap a thread around some receiving logic in python. Basically we have an app, that will have a thread in the background polling for messages, the problem I ran into is that piece that actually pulls the messages waits forever for a message. Making it impossible to terminate... I ended up wrapping the pull in another thread, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't a better way to do it. • Proxmox VE cluster not working

  I have been using a Proxmox VE 2.0 cluster (2 servers) for months. Today, I had the "bright idea" to install a GUI on one of the servers. I used tasksel, and selected the graphical desktop environment (Gnome). When I rebooted the server, neither of the servers on the cluster could see each other (shows a red light by the server on the sidebar, no statistics). The VMs on each server are working fine, individually. pvecm status on the broken server shows cman_tool: cannot open connection to cman, is it running ?. Running it on the other server outputs a lot of lines (here: http://pastebin.com/HpQfUHTU), but I assume the important bit is expected votes:2 total votes: 1 Trying pvecm delnode (othernode) on either server outputs: cluster not ready - no quorum? Any suggestions as to how I can fix this? Thanks in advance!

• Microphone not working in Windows Virtual PC (on Windows 7)

  I"m using Windows Virtual PC on Windows 7 (host) running Windows XP (as the Guest O/S) I'm trying to get the Microphone working. When I Enable Integration Features: Microphone does not work When I run the Sound Recorder, the record button is disabled. If I look at Sound settings, there are no options for the Mic (it's all disabled "grayed out"). Speakers work Copy & Paste works When I Disable Integration Features: Microphone and speakers work Copy and Paste does not (as expected) Drag'n Drop copying does not work in either situation. What I've Tried Verified that the Windows XP Mode Virtual PC guest also has the same symptoms (Mic doesn't work) and audio out (speakers) do work. I"m going to try (but have little hope) to: -Uninstall and Reinstall the Integration addin for Virtual PC

• IIS 7.5 Custom HTTP Response Headers Not Working

  Trying to setup custom HTTP Response Headers on a new install of IIS7.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard and they are not working. Default headers work fine (X-Powered-By, etc...). Modifying default header values work (ie. change X-Powered-By to ASP.NET2). Modifying default header names cause header to stop being output (ie. Change X-Powered-By to X-Powered-By2). Site in question is a test site with a single html page. Custom headers also don't work on ASP.NET 2.0 site. I've tried setting the headers at the global level and at the site level to no effect.

• inetd / xinetd not working under cygwin

  I am trying to use xinetd (or inetd) with netcat to act as a TCP proxy. This setup works on Linux without issue. Under Cygwin, either as a service or from the a Cygwin command line, the (x)inetd fails to open netcat, with the error "no such file or directory". I have tried specifying /usr/bin/nc, /usr/bin/nc.exe, /cygdrive/d/cygwin/usr/bin/nc.exe, d:\cygwin\bin\nc.exe, and a TON of other combinations of forward flashes, backslashes, Windows paths and Cygwin paths. No matter what, I get errno 2, no such file or dir. Any ideas? I need this working ASAP. Edit: I thought it may have to do with it being in d:\cygwin (lame hardcoding?) but I tested it on a machine with cygwin on C:\, problem exists there too.

• Exchange Transport Service Started but not working

  Good day, Here is the problem : We are hosting a Microsoft Exchange Server. Everything working fine until recently, where the mail transport seems to go wrong. We almost have to restart the service every morning. The thing is that the transport service is started, but the mail are not delivered to the users and senders to our server get a delayed delivery notification. When we restart the service, all the mail is then delivered to the users and we're good to go for a day or two. Things I've noticed : The store service is growing to around 6 Gb of used RAM, and the w3wp.exe service is hanging around 700mb RAM. Is there a way to schedule a restart of the transport role every 4 hours or something while I'm solving the issue so I don't have to worry when I leave for the week-end? And most of all...does anyone have any idea on how to solve this issue? Thanks, Philippe

  I have gotten OpenLDAP with SSL working on a test box with a signed certificate. I can use an LDAP tool on a Windows box to view the LDAP over SSL (port 636). But when I run dpkg-reconfigure ldap-auth-config to setup my local login to use ldaps, my login under a username in the directory doesn't work. If I change the config to use just plain ldap (port 389) it works just fine (I can login under a username in the directory).   It would appear that on my brand new Windows Server 2008 with IIS7, customErrors is not working. We have customErrors set to RemoteOnly in the web.config on our Asp.Net sites and applications. However, no matter what we do, it would appear that our sites act like it's set to On and we can't get any detailed messages showing up on our applications when remoted into our servers. I'm not entirely sure how to trace where this is being overrided, or if there is something in the way the server is configured that would make the server think the request is internal? How does this actually resolve correctly, anyway? Any help is appreciated... Our network admin has added domains to our hosts file to direct applications to the IP address.

• Horizontal scrolling not working in Windows 7 running on MBP using Boot Camp

  Is there a way to enable horizontal scrolling on Windows installed on a bootcamp partition of MBP 13" Core 2 Duo, using a trackpad? I had a look into the Boot Camp Control panel settings, but could not find a setting that suggested this. I used the Boot Camp drivers that came with the MBP in the Mac OS X Install disk. The vertical scroll is working fine, and the horizontal scroll works fine in the Mac world of things, so the hardware is fine. I think maybe there might be an additional install for a driver that we may have to install? Or any update? Thanks in advance for all your help. :)
