• Having problems building OpenCV 2.0 on CentOS 5?

  I am developing a mathematics site using Asp.Net MVC 3 + Razor + MathJax. MathJax is a javascript library to render TeX or LaTeX codes on the web browser. And TeX or LaTeX codes represent mathematics contents such as an inline math $y=mx+c$ and a displayed math \[y=mx+c\]. Right now my site can accept input, for example, $x<y$. However it cannot accept $x<y>z$ because the framework regards this input is vulnerable to XSS and XSRF. Shortly speaking, what I should do to accomplish what I want but it does not open security vulnerability.

• [cocoa] NSSearchField not working as expected

  Hi, I'm trying to follow Marcus Zarra in his book 'Core Data'. In the book, he makes a small sample application, but it doesn't give much help when things don't work out... He starts out by visually designing three entities, and then adding array controllers for each entity to the main nib. Second, he adds a tableview and some other visual components to show data from the array controllers. So far, I have managed to follow, but now he adds a search field to the gui, and binds it to the same array controller as one of the tableviews. Expected behavior would be for the tableview to get filtered when typing in the search field, but nothing happens. How do I find out what's wrong? The relevant parts from the nib is as follow: NSArrayController Recipes - Mode = Entity - Enitity Name = Recipe TableView w/TableColumn - Value Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = arrangedObjects -- Model Key Path = name Search Field - Predicate Bind To Recipes -- Controller Key = filterPredicate -- Model Key Path = name -- Display name = predicate -- Predicate Format = keyPath contains $value There are no relevant messages in the console. regards, -Vegar

Two questions for the community: 1) How to update the "Application Page" status programmatically? Does anyone think it will work for an "Application Page" as well? 2) How to update the "Application Page" status through a third party service? • Proxy Authentication Error while calling FedEx webservice

  Hi all, I am trying to call the FedEx tracking webservice. Currently I am running the sample application provided by FedEx itself (Added my test account number and other details). When I run the application, I get the following error: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required. I am inside a proxy at my organization and I tried provided the proxy server details to the webservice client using the WebProxy class as: trackService.Proxy = WebProxy.GetDefaultProxy(); and also by providing the proxy server details as: trackService.Proxy = new WebProxy("IP",8080); But I still keep getting the same error!! • Silverlight DataGrid refresh problem

  Hi, I have encountered a problem when I refresh the observable collection behind my Silverlight DataGrid (the DataGrid binds to a PagedCollectionView with an ObservableCollection as source). When I clear the observable collection and add the new items to the collection the DataGrid repositions to the top. I want the DataGrid to keep the scroll position. This seems to somewhat happen if I remove the items in the collection one-by-one with the RemoveAt mehtod and the add the new items one-by-one. But why is there this difference between removing all the items at once with the Clear method and removing the items one-by-one with the RemoveAt method? Best Regards, Jesper

  Hello! I'm wondering how can I put a header into my pdf file, cause i've tried the tutorials from here: http://itextsharp.sourceforge.net/tutorial/ch04.html And it have not worked. Ive done this: Dim head As New HeaderFooter(New Phrase("This is page: "), False) head.Border = Rectangle.NO_BORDER document.Header = head But VS2008 says that HeaderFooter it's not defined (line 1), and Footer it's not a member of "iTextSharp.text.document" (line 3). I've already included the imports at the begining of my code and i don't have any other problems with the iTextsharps (i mean that it is working apart of the header problem): Imports iTextSharp.text Imports iTextSharp.text.pdf Imports System.Data.SQLite Imports System.IO So please, can anyone explain to me how can i set a header for my pages?   Hi Guys, I have a requirement from a client with regards to user profile properties. The requirement is as follows: We would like to setup custom user profile properties such that these values are editable by individuals via their my site. When a user edits this user profile property value, it should not be immediately visible to other users that happen to go to the individual's my site, but rather go through an approval workflow. If the value submitted is approved the user profile property value is updated. As far as I know this is not possible. I do have a work around for this but I want to ensure that I haven't missed anything before going down this path. Thanks in Advance

  Hello everybody, I have a google map with my own map type: var currentProjection = new GMercatorProjection(maxLevels + 1); var mapBounds = new GLatLngBounds(new GLatLng(-9, -15), new GLatLng(9, 15)); var custommap = new GMapType(tilelayers, currentProjection, "Some project"); map.addMapType(custommap); map.setCenter(mapBounds.getCenter(), minLevels, custommap); When user clicks on map then context menu appears (singlerightclick event), from context menu user can add markers and I need a GLatLng value to add marker to the map but singlerightclick event contains only GPoint value. I try to use next statement: map.getCurrentMapType().getProjection().fromPixelToLatLng(pointValueFromEvent, map.getZoom()); but it wasn't helpfull (GLatLng value is outside of my map). I think it's because I use my own map type, how can I get GLatLng value to add the marker? Best regards, Alex.

• PartCover shows 0% coverage for getter and 100% coverage for setter despite the code being commented

  Hi all, I have a public property in my code as below: [DependencyInjection] public IEVentController EventController { get; set; } I also have a line of code referencing the EventController property: EventController.ExecuteObjectEvents( someObject, null ); Now currently (due to some missing implementation in another part of the application) I commented both these code sections out. Nevertheless, when I run PartCover it shows me a coverage of 0% for get_EventController and 100% for set_EventController. The strange thing is, that the Coverage Details view also correctly shows me that the code is commented out and therefore should not be treated as code - why does PartCover recognise it anyway? I would have expected to not get the getter and setter listed in the PartCover result. There is definitely no other reference to that code in the class to be tested, any ideas? For example, @misc{libsvm, abstract = {LIBSVM is an implbmentation of Support vector machine (SVM).}, author = {Chang, Chih-Chung}, keywords = {svm}, posted-at = {2010-04-08 00:05:04}, priority = {2}, title = {LIBSVM}, url = "http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~cjlin/libsvm/", year = {2008} } will appear in Bibliography as [2] Chih-Chung Chang. Libsvm, 2008. But I hope the link "http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/~cjlin/libsvm/" could appear and the "Libsvm" could be all capital "LIBSVM". Honestly, I have no idea how a link should appear in Bibliography. What I think might be not professional. Please advise me how to put it in a professional way. Thanks and regards!

But my consoleapp crashs when i call the cgi script. So i did a little debuging and write a text file after some actions i do in my .net program. The result was that my programm crash everytime i'd like to open a access mdb file. It told me that i need the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). But i cant belive this message because my .net consoleapp runs without errors if i start it from my own. So can anybody give me some advise how i can call my .net consol ab through a webscript. I'm happy for every advise So it don't have to be a solution using a cgi script. Regards, Nico

• use jsonp to get xml cross domain

  I am trying to read xml into a webpage from another server, and I assume that my problem is Same-Origin Policy, and therefore a cross domain problem. I have a bit of googling and it seems that jsonp is the way forward. Based on some examples I found here on stackoverflow and another sites, this is what I have, and it does not "hit" the server with the xml.   Hello, I need to determin the COM component(unmanaged code) type and invoke the exposed interface's methods using reflection in C#.NET at runtime. 1 -- First What member of "Type" tells that type is COM component and we can take CLSID at runtime? Is Type.COMObject? 2 -- I need to call methods of exposed interfaces as they called in unmanaged code using CoCreateInstance by passing CLSID and REFID ... I am using InvokeMember but it returns null or 0 as out parameter. How to pass out parameter in this case.? Is there any need to pass out parameter? As all my COM unamanged code suppose to take las parameter as an OUT parameter and after executing it puts the result into that out param. But I've converted all my unmanged COM code to .NET managed assemblies using tlbimp.exe. Regards Usman

  Hi all, I'm interested in knowing how GCC differs from Intel's ICC in terms of the optimization levels and catering to specific processor architecture. I'm using GCC 4.1.2 20070626 and ICC v11.1 for Linux. How does ICC's optimization levels (O1 to O3) differ from GCC, if they differ at all? The ICC is able to cater specifically to different architectures (IA-32, intel64 and IA-64). I've read that GCC has the -march compiler option which I think is similar, but I can't find a list of the options to use. I'm using Intel Xeon X5570, which is 64-bit. DROP TABLE IF EXISTS "State" CASCADE; CREATE TABLE "State" ( StateID SERIAL PRIMARY KEY NOT NULL, StateName VARCHAR(50) ); It runs fine in the query tool of PgAdmin.   Hi guys, I am planning to implement spam filter using Naive Bayesian classification model. Online I see a lot of info on Naive Bayesian classification, but the problem is its a lot of mathematical stuff, than clearly stating how its done. And the problem is I am more of a programmer than a mathematician (yes I had learnt Probability and Bayesian theorem back in school, but out of touch for a long long time, and I don't have luxury of learning it now (Have nearly 3 weeks to come-up with a working prototype)). So if someone can explain or point me to location where its explained for programmers than a mathematician, it would be a great help. • Using wix3 SqlScript to run generated temporary sql-script files.

  I am starting to write an installer which will use the SqlScript-element. That takes a reference to the Binary-table what script to run. I would like to dynamically generate the script during the installation. I can see three possibilities: Somehow to get SqlScript to read it data from a file rather then a Binary entry. Inject my generated script into the Binary table Using SqlString Which will cause the need to place some rather long strings into Properties, but I guess that shouldn't really be a prolem. Any advice? Regards Leif (My reason, should anyone be interested is that the database should have a job set up, that calls on an installed exe-file. I prefer to create the job using sqlscript. And the path of that file is not known until InstallDir has been choosen.)

  Hi there, I have just created a mailchimp account and I have one question. I'm quite new to mailchimp. In my customer dashboard (of magento) i want to create a list subscribe form. Now I have a list of checkboxes that i run using a for next loop. I want to put these checkboxes in my mailchimp form and according to what the customer choices, the mailchimp list is updated. Ex. I have various categories (Apparel, furniture etc) these are set up from Magento backend and they have to be dynamic. These checkboxes are set up in a table. In Mailchimp I want to create user lists or one list with a group containing sub categories, that are created by my Magento code. I was wondering if this is possible. • How to "bubble" a Controls features when place in a custom UserControl

  I'll try to explain what Im after. I dont know the technical term for it, so here goes: Example 1: If I place a LisView on a Form and add som columns I am able, in Design-Time, to click-and-drag the columns to resize them. Example 2: Now, I place a ListView in a UserControl and name it "MyCustomListView" (and perhaps add some method to enhance it somehow). If I know place the "MyCustomListView" on a Form I am unable to click-and-drag the column headers to resize them in Design-Time. Is there any way to easily make that happen? Some form of "pass the click-and-drag event to the underlying control and let that control do its magic". Im not really looking to recode, just pass on the mouseclick (or whatever it is) and let the, in this case, ListView react as it did in the first example above. Regards
