    I'm trying to configure mapping of LDAP Groups to Drupal roles. The DN for the group that I have been given contains a space in the OU: CN=CommunityUsers,OU=Distribution Groups,DC=TLD,DC=AD Drupal is authenticating if there is no space, but under no circumstances can I have the space removed. Can I change the way I specify the DN?

  • Visual Studio 2010 RTM started giving me 'does not exist in the current context errors'

    Just installed the trial version of Visual Studio 2010 RTM. Now I keep getting : The name 'NoPanel' does not exist in the current context Errors (where no panel is just about any control in the .aspx file) also I got several errors trying to deploy pages and it would not send the .cs file over ...or pdfs in the Content directory (even though I had copy always set)... This is happening on a pair of mixed ASP.NET MVC and Webforms sites.

  • Suppress errors of files that are not set to be built from the "Error List" window

    I have some cs files in my project that are not set to be built (Properties - Build Action = None). They contain bits of code that don't compile as a whole and are there merely for reference. I don't care about any compilation errors in them, but they appear in the "Error List" window, cluttering it. Is there some way to tell VS to ignore errors in that file? Or in all files not set to be built, at that ? I'm using VS 2010 Thanks

    Hi everybody, In an application we are developpment, we are accessing Active Directory users and groups using the .Net DirectoryEntry and DirectorySearcher classes. Managing the test groups and users during development is getting tedious. I am wondering if there was an easy way to setup a simple local AD in which we could easily create / delete users and assign them or remove them from groups as we want with the DirectoryEntry / DirectorySearcher classes? For doing this in cs code u must write this line. this.leftImage.Source = new BitmapImage(new Uri(@"C:\a.bmp")); But I want make Binding from resources. Because In release time resources became part of project.exe file and if you make binding from file(Mean set Image.source with Image file address), you must always put image file in the same address(disaster programing) :)

  • How does Dropbox use Python on Windows and OS X?

    In Windows the Dropbox client uses python25.dll and the MS C runtime libraries (msvcp71.dll, etc). On OS X the Python code is compiled bytecode (pyc). My guess is they are using a common library they have written then just have to use different hooks for the different platforms. What method of development is this? It clearly isn't IronPython or PyObjC. This paradigm is so appealing to me, but my CS foo and Google foo are failing me.

    I'm sure you know the problem, as soon as a BindingSource is connected to a DataGridView the DataGridView generates columns for each Property found in the Type of the BindingSource's DataSource and adds that crap to the Form.Designer.cs file. We only use run time generated columns, the clutter in the designer file is just waste of code, so how can we stop this "feature" of the DataGridView in WinForms?

    Where in the linux kernel does the closing of a socket's file descriptor occur? I know for a file, the file's file descriptor is closed in fs/open.cs function sys_close(). However, for a socket file descriptor, is this the same location or somewhere else? Also, do sockets utilize the file.c alloc_fd to allocate the file descriptor or do they utilize some other function?

Has to be pure jquery or javascript though - no flash based stuff. I've found loads of great components but can't find one that is controlled by XML.     Hi All, I have a string say string s ="C:\\Data" , I have an array which contains some strings containg "C:\Data" in the beginning i.e. string[] arr = new {"C:\\Data\abc.xml","C:\\Data\Test\hello.cs"};. I have to remove the string "C:\Data" from each entry and have to combine it with another string say string fixed = "D:\\Data". What is the best way to do it, please help as I am a new programmer in C#.

    hello, today i wrote a windows service which needs to send regular http requests to a server. the problem is that the service runs under the "SYSTEM" account as local service and as such a type of service it isn't allowed to access the network.. for installing the service i use this class: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/152585/ServiceInstaller.cs is there a way to send http requests in a .net c# windows service and get the http response? thanks. :)

    Hello, this is quite a simple question hopefully. Our client currently has a Flash banner ad on their site which they can change the text size, colour, position etc. by editing an XML file. They want to scrap flash and use JavaScript and jQuery. Now, as long as the XML file is at a readable URL I should be able make an AJAX request for the file and use it. Is that correct? Many thanks
