I have a string (€#,###.00) which works fine with aDecimal.ToString("€#,###.00") in .NET, i wonder if anyone knows how this could be achieved with javascript
Hi everyone,i created an application that takes the excell output of a table.There are long numbers in table cell.When i took the output the cells that have long numbers are seen like that 1234+E34.how can i fix that?Thanks for advance...
I want to write an windows application in c#.net in which I have to save hindi language fonts to the databases and reading them straight away.I have searched lots of websites and read about localization but couldn't make it through.Please help me.

Assume a rowset containing the following
EntryID Name DateModified DateDeleted
-----------------------------------------------
1 Name1 1/2/2003 NULL
2 Name1 1/3/2005 1/5/2008
3 Name1 1/3/2006 NULL
4 Name1 NULL NULL
5 Name1 3/5/2008 NULL
I need to return the largest (i.e. most recent) non-null date from DateModified and DateDeleted, in this case 3/5/2008.
I have a row in excel with the following data: 1271664970687 (I think it's the number of milliseconds from 1970...).
I would like to have adition row that will show it as date/time.
Why does this fail:
DECLARE @DATE VARCHAR(50) = 'dasf'
SELECT CASE WHEN ISDATE(@DATE) = 1 THEN CONVERT(date,@DATE) ELSE @DATE END
Msg 241, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Conversion failed when converting date and/or time from character string.
Why is it trying to convert dasf to date when it clearly causes ISDATE(@DATE) = 1 to evaluate to false...
If I do:
SELECT ISDATE(@DATE)
The return value is 0.
What would be matlab's equivalent of
write(1,'("Speed, resistance, power",3f8.2)')(a(i),i=1,3)
I've tried
a = [10. 20. 200.]
fprintf(unit1,'a = 3%8.1e',a)
but I'm still having trouble with it (the whole matlab output formatting thing).
Edit for Kenny: for the values of a as given above, it would give (in a new row):
Speed, resistance, power 10.00 20.00 200.00
I have a date/time string like this: 180510_112440 in this format ddmmyy_hhmmss
I need a snippet for having a string formatted like this way: 2010-05-18 11:24:40
Thanks for help.
I have a column defined like this:
<DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding Path=FileSizeBytes, Mode=OneWay}" Header="Size" IsReadOnly="True" />
But instead of displaying the file size as a big number, I'd like to display units, but still have it sort by the actual FileSizeBytes. Is there some way I can run it through a function or something before displaying it?
I need to convert a varchar value of 1/9/2011 to a date in mySQL and I want only the month and year. So that I can then use the PERIOD_DIFF function (so I would need the above to be converted to 201101).
I've tried various ways using the STR_TO_DATE function:
SELECT STR_TO_DATE(CYOApp_oilChangedDate, '%m/%Y') FROM CYO_AppInfo
But I get weird results... (for example: 2009-01-00)
What am I doing incorrectly?
Is there any documentation on what the bignums in the body are?
Like here is an example pubkey.
ssh-rsa AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABJQAAAIBMgigwcBaB3sqogC/yVPANQJKjMwOvrdOKhBIVlI2eOIq6FEyzNI8cbRDbHo5muipun922bLoV+p/dPZ2/8wJ+zugLM8eCdsr+VbYZ3T5wb7bjd2swePOWtffnsXnHiP8aWyRj64vd/mRPR1gYErg8vb7vM5c4B2ANKHs/rP65Bw== rsa-key-20100514
It contains 3 bignums with the sizes 7, 1, 128. Now I am assuming the 128 is the key while the 7 is the shared. But what about the other one? Also the privkey contains a lot more bignums which I have no idea what they are.
I am searching for a custom control for asp.net, which helps display user friendly dates, like instead of article date:
(2-april-2010)
it displays
(2 months old)
I am unable to find it on google, please can any one suggest links, custom controls, articles for the same.
Thank you.
<asp:TextBox ID="txtDate" runat="server" Value="<%= DateTime.Today.ToShortDateString() %>" />
Value="<%= DateTime.Today.ToShortDateString() %>" does not write date in txt field but whole string. What i am doing wrong?
Hello. I'm currently developing an URL shortening service. I want to allow users to see the stats for their URLs. How has to be the table.
First, it has to be the url ID, but then, how I can sort the clicks per day?
<asp:TextBox AutoPostBack="true" ID="txtDate" OnTextChanged="txtDate_TextChanged" runat="server" Value="<%= DateTime.Today.ToShortDateString() %>"></asp:TextBox>
Value="<%= DateTime.Today.ToShortDateString() %" does not write date in txt field but whole string. What i am doing wrong?
i have a very simple report that is generated from just one table. one of the columns in the table is a date.
i need to be able to allow the user of the report to enter a range of dates and display data only between those dates.
how do i do this?
This is an extension of an earlier question. I realized, what I really want is to go to a URL /report/thisweek and it will do a .find (or named_scope) across contact_emails.date_sent where date_sent is between MONDAY and FRIDAY of the week to which Date.today belongs.
In other words, if today is THURSDAY, it will do a search for all emails MONDAY through THURSDAY of this week.
Not sure if this is doable or makes sense, but I think that's what I'd ultimately am trying to do.
Thanks!
Disclaimer, I'm not a PHP programmer, so you might find this question trivial. That's why I'm asking you!
I've got this kind of timestamp: 2010-05-10T22:00:00 (That's Y-m-d)
I would like to subtract, say, 10 days (or months, whatever) from this, and have my result be in the same format, i.e. 2010-04-30T22:00:00.
What function(s) do I need to do this in PHP?
Note: I'm using this to do a computed field in Drupal. The result will be the date that an e-mail is sent.
Bonus question: If 2010-05-10T22:00:00 means "May 10, 2010 at 10pm", is there a timestamp equivalent of "May 10, 2010 (all day)"?
Thanks everyone.
Hi, in C if I have a printf statement containing say "%.2f", it says that the precision is 2 digits after the decimal place. I haven't explicitly specify the width. I have two questions:
Is this good programming practice?;
Is without specifying the width means that the width of the field will get adjusted automatically when printing the number, irrespective of the number of digits it contains?
Thanks a lot...
I found the exact same question here.
But it isn't working for me. I've modified it a bit, manipulated it, and I can't figure it out. I'm trying to remove rows that are over a day old. Here is my code:
if (isset($_POST['prune'])) {
$sql = "DELETE FROM logs WHERE time < date('now', '-1 days')";
mysql_query($sql);
echo 'Logs older than one day removed.';
}
Fairly simple question I suppose, but its bugging the hell out of me. I would appreciate any help.
In case it makes a difference, the column is a TIMESTAMP type.
Anybody can help me to get date formated with Zend framework

<?php echo new Zend_Date(2010-05-23, false, 'en');?>

I what I need is: May 22, 2010
Thanks.
My MySQL database has date of birth stored in the format yyyy-mm-dd, how do I query the database - without using php code - to show me results of people born within x years of now, and/or, who are y years of age?
The table is called users, the colum is called dob. I've spent a while viewing the MySQL manual but I can't work out precisely how to form my query.
So far I went for select * from users where dob... but I don't think that's the way to go.
Hello all ,
I have a string like "SAB_bARGS_D" . What I want is that the string gets divided into list of characters but whenever there is a _ sign the next character gets appended to the previous one.
So the answer to above should be ['S','A','B_b','A','R','G','S_D']
It can be done by using a for loop traversing through the list but is there an inbuilt function that I can use.....
Thanks a lot
