  • Getting the "unmodified" HTML document from Javascript

    - by chris_l
Is it possible to get the source of the current HTML document, exactly as it was loaded, in text form? (i.e. not the "Generated source" after parsing and DOM manipulation.) Note: Issuing an extra AJAX request to retrieve the HTML page again is not an option in this case: The document could have changed.

  • Set the right two characters (if there are any) to capitals?

    - by Hyflex
Below is my data: Data Here 94/452O Data more 94/4522i Data bla 94/111 Data bla 94/459es Data bla 94/444 items is automatically generated by some previous code but it could come out like: items = ["Data Here 94/452O", "Data more 94/4522i", "Data bla 94/111", "Data bla 94/459es", "Data bla 94/444"] Now currently I'm appending the following: "\n".join(items).replace("4ke", "9") with a few other .replaces however I want it to replace/change the characters on the end of the numbers with a capital letter instead of lowercase... Output: Data Here 94/452O Data more 94/4522I Data bla 94/111 Data bla 94/459ES Data bla 94/444

  • Unittest in Django. Static variable feeded into the test case

    - by ziang
I want to generate some dynamic data and feed these data in to test cases. But I found that Django will initial the test class every time to do the test. So the data will get generated every time django test framework calls the function. Is there anyway to use something like the singleton or static variable to solve the problem? What should be the solution? Thanks!

  • Determining when database zip is unpacked

    - by adehaas
I am fetching a db zip on initial startup of an AIR app (after 1st install), which I then unpack via FZip. After this operation I immediately need to load data from the generated sqlite db, which fails since I seem not able to determine when the zip is completely unpacked and/or the sqlite has been created. Any suggestions? Thx!

  • Returning an error code in Erlang

    - by Zubair
I'm writing some Erlang code and I'm very unsure whether I should let everything fail fast. One problem I find with fail fast is that for the developer/user the exception generated is pretty meaningless. Any idea what I should return which would not give esoteric and hard to read stack traces?

  • Impressive DocBook example?

  • How do I stop the designer from filling in my properties with null values?

    - by Tim Gradwell
    When I add a control to a form, visual studio assigns various of the properties of that form a value of null in the auto-generated designer code. I don't want the designer to make the redundant assignment (the value is already null). Can anyone tell me how to prevent it? example MyControl has property public SomeClass MyProperty { get { return m_MyValue; } set { m_MyValue = value; } } designer then autogenerates the following: myControl1.MyProperty = null;

  • Where does code within Script tags go in the resulting AS class?

    - by Hanno Fietz
I was wondering what happens to the code contained in an <mx:Script> tag. If I define a function tehre, it just becomes a member function of the generated class. But I noticed that it seems OK for the compiler if I just write some (static) method calls there (specifically, I call Font.registerFont()). I feel kind of guilty for doing this, because I have no idea what's really happening and when the code gets executed.

  • Prevent debugging projects that are added as reference in Visual Studio

    - by DSWD
I have a project that is auto generated. This project is referenced by my web app in visual studio. When i step through the code in debug mode the code from this project gets stepped into. Is there a way I can skip this code in debug mode. I can't use System.Diagnostics.DebuggerStepThroughAttribute since the code will get replaced every time my datasource changes. Thanks,

  • Is there a (Linux) C++ IDE that can 'construct' a project from a makefile?

    - by Paul
I am working on a legacy C app which uses makefiles. I am more comfortable (and more productive) working from within an IDE, so I am looking for an IDE that can import the makefile and create a project. Incidentally, these are hand written makefiles (not complicated ones like those generated by Autoconf). I am using Code::Blocks at the moment, but it seems it is unable to import makefiles ...

  • managed object subclasses are not generating implementation files and are incorrectly named

    - by mkc842
In Xcode 4.6, I generated plenty of managed object subclass files without any problem. But now that I'm trying to do it in Xcode 5, it generates only a .h file. The header file has the correct properties, but it takes the name of my project, rather than the name of the core data entity I selected. Just to be sure I hadn't forgotten something, I carefully followed these steps . What could be going on? Thanks

However, when I print the document (on linux, using CUPS), some of the pages with a sidewaysfigure are upside down (rotated by 180 degreeS).

  • HTML/CSS Design for Report

    - by Kevin Brown
I'm looking for some resources that demonstrate good graphic design for generated (PHP/HTML/CSS) reports. The website I'm designing is essentially a long test. Everything is finished except the report generation, and this part needs to look good! I'd appreciate any advice/resources you can point me to! I know this isn't directly programming related, but my purposes do encompass coding and output.
