  i am using amazon simpledb with the aws_sdb gem and aws-sdb proxy as outlined in a documentation from amazon with ruby on rails and a local aws proxy that runs on webrick (providing a bridge with ActiveResource). see http://developer.amazonwebservices.com/connect/entry.jspa?externalID=1242 i am wondering if the aws-sdb-proxy (webrick!) is suitable for high traffic load, since webrick is supposed to be a development server. anyone has comments or experiences?

  I created a TabNavigator with a bunch of NavigatorContent inside it, and want to skin just the buttons of the tabs themselves. So I added a skinClass, but looks like in the documentation, there's no skin part to target the button specifically. Do I have to style the mx:TabNavigator itself to accomplish this? I was hoping not since I don't know how to style mx components and am more comfortable with styling spark. Any other alternatives that I didn't think about?

  If you look at the following line of python code: bpy.ops.object.particle_system_add({"object":bpy.data.objects[2]}) you see that in the parameters there is something enclosed in braces.   I am trying to access the OpenGL capability of the phone before deciding whether to use OpenGL or Canvas for graphics puposes. However, all the functions that I can read documentation on requires you to already have a valid OpenGL context (namely, create a GLSurfaceView and assign it a rendered. Then check the OpenGL parameters in the onSurfaceCreated). So, is there a way to check the extensions, renderer name and max texture size capability of the phone BEFORE having to create any OpenGL views?
